  1. HCC Schools: (Then/Now) Hamilton Southeastern - 14/9 (would be #1 if Fishers weren’t built) Noblesville - 40/11 Franklin Central - 42/14 Avon - 61/10 Brownsburg - 64/13 Zionsville - 108/30 Westfield - 111/22
  2. Gotta be able to connect the dots here "king." Check out the contests of MIC vs HCC schools over the past decade and compare them to the socioeconomic trends and paths that each school/township corporation is experiencing. It's not that hard.
  3. Any word of Carmel's QB situation?
  4. Indiana’s box scores every Friday night prove my stance.
  5. Might have something to do with the suburbs? I can't speak for programs outside of Indiana, but the stats do not lie. A lot of "inner-city" flight to the suburbs in Indianapolis hence the reason that Brownsburg, Avon, Center Grove, Carmel, Westfield, etc are emerging/established powers? Just spit balling out loud. Are kids (regardless of address) flocking TO those programs in Detroit and Miami? That used to be the case in Indy, but now Marion County talent is showing up in the suburbs more often that the other way around. Ben Davis used to attract talent from Brownsburg and Avon and now its in the opposite direction. I've stated for years now that the Indy suburbs will catch up and eventually pass the Marion County schools and it looks great in August/September but just hasn't happened yet in October/November which is the reasoning for your insults. Ten years ago, I'd have been called crazy, yet here we are again with the HCC dominating the MIC as the season opens. Once again, I'd like to remind folks reading this thread that we have a poster who publicly backs CATHEDRAL speaking to the specifics of socioeconomics. Never trust a skinny chef nor a poster who backs a P/P to lecture you on the impact that socioeconomics has on athletics.
  6. I know all about Cass Tech too. You gimme another "public" school in America that boasts 1000 students and has 6-8 D1 prospects on the roster. Don't be so blind.
  7. Correct and all of the football athletes are funneled into King. 550 boys in the school and over a half dozen football D1 guys? Come on dude. Get your head out of the sand.
  8. Detroit King is as “public” as Cathedral. In fact, they probably have more future D1 prospects than Cathedral. A football factory factory first and foremost. Keep trying though. It’s cute.
  9. Are you sure? I’ve been told Fox News is “fake news” by some… Can you provide an alternate source?
  10. This is the million dollar question.
  11. Meaning he fired himself?
  12. Rumors are Dallas and Houston have reached out among others…maybe Bishop Sycamore?
  13. That was my predecessor. Yappi was on top of this fraud of a program from the beginning.
  14. I'm not so sure. I believe it was "Bishop" Sycamore.
  15. Avon @ Hamilton Southeastern - Talk about two teams that seem to be heading in opposite directions. Gut check time for the Orioles, but I don't like their chances. HSE rolls 41-17. Franklin Central @ Brownsburg - Not seeing any opportunities for FC on the remainder of the schedule and certainly not this one. Dogs win 30-7. Fishers @ Noblesville - Didn't see this one as very intriguing as recently as two weeks ago, but both teams have made great strides and this is honestly one of the more interesting matchups of the week. I'll go with Fishers 24-21. Westfield @ Zionsville - If not for CG/Carmel, this would be the game of the week. Two defending state finalists who have aspirations to make another deep run. Should be fun. I'll take Westfield 20-17.
  16. Interested in folks' thoughts on the four MIC games this week. Looks like two intriguing match ups and two that should be yawners, at least on paper. Center Grove @ Carmel - Stated in another thread that this is the first of two "games of the year." Both teams can light up the scoreboard, but CG is better on the defensive side of the ball. Trojans 30-17. North Central @ Warren Central - North Central needs this badly after an 0-2 start in which they have not looked competitive on either occasion. Warren figured some things out last week against Chatard. Gimme Warren 45-20. Pike @ Ben Davis - Pike has shown little offensively whereas BD lit up the score board last week against Avon. I think this will be a fairly high scoring game. Gimme BD 41-17. Lawrence Central @ Lawrence North - No idea what to expect in this one as LN was off last week and I am not sure if LC's win was more so their improvement or the fact that Jeff is down. I'll take LN 27-20.
  17. Last year against Cathedral?
  18. Easily shaping up to be the most intriguing class in my opinion.
  19. I'm honestly not sold that this Ohio outfit would have film, but the fact that they played last year should have been a sign. I can see IMG putting it on everybody in the country this fall, 58-0 was probably the best they could do once this game kicked off and they realized what they were up against. I'm betting they could have scored 100 had they wanted to.
  20. Here’s what sucks about this even further. Any publicity is good publicity in this instance. This coach will now use this publicity (“we played on ESPN”) to attract future “recruits.” Guaranteed.
  21. 37-0 at the half…assuming so.
  22. Please don’t call it a high school.
  23. Damn! Impressive. Thought that record might be held by Mr. Banks. Related note: Any truth to the rumor that Avon’s two most popular defensive packages are named “the matador” and the “screen door?”
