  1. I mean, I think both will be formidable and I’ll never say never. It’ll be a typical year in the MIC with the top 4. I think CG is on another level. Carmel, Warren and BD in tier 2 and everyone else (led by North Central) fighting for scraps.
  2. Gimme CG 27-13... closest conference game the Trojans will play all year.
  3. Way to deflect. I told you upon my return that I was going to make you my first victim and I’m well on my way. Few things worse in both collegiate and high school sports than folks who attempt to paint a narrative using stats involving players that were in elementary school when the chosen time period began and have now graduated college and possibly are married with a family. It makes no sense. Its even worse when you get those stats wrong. (CG and Warren are knotted at 8-8 in the time period you attempted to reference.) What’s next? Citing Warren’s record against teams wearing red?
  4. Yes, but the post above insinuated that the defending 6A state runner up would be better than last year AND STILL not have enough to beat Cathedral.
  5. False. Convenient how you left out the playoff matchups. Do those not count? Also, different coaching staff in place at one place and different kids at both schools based on the time frame you chose to use. You’re not very good at this.
  6. Check out this poster’s history... He/she has not predicted Warren to lose a game since the beginning of time.
  7. Drinking this early in the AM is not recommended. I’ll probably lay down a prediction on this one later on this week but I can tell you one thing... NO WAY Warren (or maybe anybody else for that matter) gets 27 on CG’s D. Hopefully you have a pick six, scoop and score and/or a special teams TD mixed in there.
  8. Don't have a favorite school and am not fully on board with this proposal. But as I have said, 6A is pretty damn boring.
  9. "It" = becoming private? Just say it, you know you want to...(in fact, you already did above...)
  10. You've finally come around on socioeconomic status' factor in athletic success. Stop running from it and embrace it.
  11. Two lowest free and reduced lunch rates also....😘 Welcome aboard!
  12. Well, pre pandemic the statewide average for free and reduced lunch rate was sitting at 49 percent. Therefore, I’d define any schools above that figure as impoverished. I’d be willing to negotiate however. (I can’t speak to other parts of the country, though I’ll take your word for it unless you wish to provide specific data.)
  13. No doubt, but in education/athletics, it all starts at home. Everyone’s finish line is obviously not the same but you also have to keep in mind that neither was their starting line.
  14. In the short term, no. It’s gonna be the big four...but the HCC is coming...
  15. I’m indifferent. I will say that 6A is pretty damn boring and football is the ultimate numbers game. I do like to see fresh blood. I’m intrigued by the idea but that’s as far as I’ll go.
  16. Have I commented one way or another in this thread regarding realignment? You are trying too hard...you and @gonzoronroommates?
  17. I have already stated that Lake Central and Noblesville get no pass from me. The only other school that fits into your 3000+ with a 25% or less f/r/l is Fishers and they are not “terrible” by any means. They are a top 30-35 team regardless of class that just happens to play a hellacious schedule. Penn is not what they used to be but they are far from the door mat you portray them to be.
  18. I take it back. You are playing Candy Land. Penn and Fishers are “terrible” huh? Both have played in the state finals recently. So, it’s NOT enrollment and it’s NOT socioeconomics...so it’s ALL culture I’m betting? So, when is Edinburgh scheduling Carmel? They seem to have turned the corner when it comes to culture based on DT’s interview last week.
  19. 20 years ago, both Warren and BD had free/reduced lunch rates well under 50 percent. You’re playing checkers here dude.
  20. 20 years ago, there were zero schools over 4000 students and CG was sitting over 2000 already. "Cathedral competes with 1200! Why can't everyone???" Not sure why I am still surprised you don't get it. All schools of equal enrollment are not equal on the playing field due to off the field factors. I've explained this to you dozens of times. I've given countless examples. Westfield and CG's 2500 students are nowhere near a fair comparison to Arsenal Tech's.
  21. Westfield has 2400 students and a free and reduced rate well under 20 percent. CG roughly the same amount of students and a free and reduced rate of just over 20 percent. That's how.
