Nice analysis as always @DT…
A couple of honorary additions:
Thumbs Up:
HSE and Fishers: many wrote them off as legitimate programs after a rough 2020
Chatard - a program obviously not built upon moral victories but love how they came out and punched Warren in the mouth early
Carroll (FW) - could have packed their bags after the week 1 loss to Luers but got off the mat and beat Snider
Edinburgh - doing something to another team that used to be done to them on a regular basis
Mooresville - not much to brag about in BEATING Danville but HOW they beat Danville was eye opening to me
Thumbs Down:
Penn - first Valpo (little shame) and now LaPorte? Making matters worse, they are getting on a bus Friday night into a buzzsaw. 6 hours on a bus for a contest that will be over in less than 6 minutes.
Pike - LC seems to have figured something out but the same can’t be said for the Red Devils. Shut out at home and only 10 points in two weeks?
Lafayette Jeff - did not see this one coming, whoa
Southport - Yikes. When did the transition to the other township school take place? Snapped a 12 game winning streak over the Falcons.
Plainfield - I just don’t get it. Growing suburban population, all of the resources to compete and loses to a 3A (albeit a damn good one) school within the same county borders
