  1. No propaganda at all. Pike competes for the conference crown in any conference not named the MIC/HCC. That is as far as I will go.
  2. I believe @23andCounting gets credit for this one, but I'd like to see Fort Wayne teams set up some contests with the Toledo/Detroit powerhouses.
  3. If it were at Pike, likely. I think that it'll be a one possession game. Could be wrong.
  4. Man, we’re really reaching for accomplishments these days I see.
  5. Nobody gonna mention “the hammer” that dropped last week.”?
  6. Not giving the IndyStar a dime, but would love to see what Kyle thinks if you want to share…
  7. Probably going to receive a hard time for overreacting to a scrimmage, but I heard Avon was extremely impressive on the east side Friday night. I don’t see Brownsburg losing by four touchdowns on their home field…now if it were St. Frances (MD)? Yep.
  8. I’d also expect LN/LC to be more competitive as would I Spalding/Brownsburg. Just my take.
  9. I’d lower those Cathedral/Decatur Central spreads big time.
  10. Not really "optimistic" per se as I don't see them going anywhere in the postseason but they look to slowly be improving year by year as the head coach enters his 4th season. I just think that some folks underestimate the bottom tier teams in the two big conferences due to their win/loss record not standing out. If the Crown Point game were in October, I may feel differently as if the game were in the Region. But its not. I think Pike puts folks on notice in week 2.
  11. A deeper dive: (Might wanna double check my math.) (vs the MIC): Zionsville - 9-4 (.692) Fishers - 16-10 (.615) Brownsburg - 11-7 (.611) Hamilton Southeastern - 12-8 (.600) Westfield - 6-4 (.600) Avon - 8-12 (.400) Noblesville - 1-8 (.111) Franklin Central - 0-8 (.000) (vs the HCC) Warren Central - 1-0 (1.000) Carmel - 14-5 (.737) Center Grove - 8-3 (.727) Lawrence North - 8-3 (.727) Ben Davis - 12-11 (.522) North Central - 9-13 (.409) Pike - 7-20 (.259) Lawrence Central - 0-8 (.000)
  12. Decided to fact check myself since the last decade was noted. Pretty remarkable. Can't get much closer than this. The HCC is 63-61 head to head against the MIC in the last 10 years.
  13. I’d prefer to use head to head. So under. Any other takers? Sure, you can add Carmel…even though I don’t see a path back to the MIC for them.
  14. Pike by 2 possessions.
  15. Pike…gonna beat Crown Point…handily.
  16. Honest question. If CG were admitted back into the MIC how many conference titles would they win in a 10 year span? I’ll place the over/under at 7.5.
  17. Nah, they’ve all outgrown the MIC. The HCC is where the big boy football is played now.
  18. This video is from 2024 training camp as noted at the bottom of the X post. Everything I’ve read says JJ has been an absolute student of the game and has had the “first guy to the facility, last guy to leave the facility” mindset. Excited to see what he can do (without Stallions of course).
  19. He called his shot and delivered. Still not ready to call him “great” as time will tell. Temp gets a lot of flack but isn’t afraid to admit when he’s wrong. Another 9+ win season in Bloomington and I’ll concede.
  20. Well, after winning the title in 2023, JJ didn’t declare for the NFL until mid-January. All of the quality portal QBs were gone. So, you’re stuck with Davis Warren. We have spoken about this on here in the past, but Michigan isn’t on the level of Georgia, Bama and O$U when it comes to just reloading. I do, however feel good about both Michigan and IU’s QB rooms going forward.
  21. Except an advantage at the most important position on the field: QB. Enjoy it. Cignetti is a helluva coach.
  22. The truth requires facts. 2-0 against OSU as the HC, went into Happy Valley and found out he was wearing the headset 75 minutes before kickoff and won that one and is also 1-0 against Bama while also being the OC for the greatest drive in Michigan football history. Lost 17 players to the NFL two years ago and went into Columbus with a cancer surviving walk on QB and stunned the Bucks. Now has his own recruits by which he will be judged and a top 10 class in the chamber for 2026. This script is still being written.
  23. LOL, your first sentence proves I’m right. I’ll avoid going down this rabbit hole in a thread titled “IU football.” Put me down at 8-4 for the Hoosiers this fall.
  24. C’mon. Jury is still out on Moore. You’re letting your bias show here.
  25. I don’t like it.
