Yeah, Michigan is playing the game now. Never thought I'd see it.
Kelly is sorta on the hot seat right now and Sloan (OC) is a leading candidate for the ECU job which is Michigan's only hope.
Gotta admit that Carroll has the opportunity to do something hilarious tomorrow night.
While I don’t think they will, this board would be appointment viewing Saturday morning.
Doesn't necessarily apply to last year but I think Cathedral's success has spoiled those who follow 5A football. Folks have unrealistic expectations as they have really been the only recent 5A champion (other than Snider last year) that you could honestly make a case for at the 6A level. "Maybe" the New Pal teams of the late 2010's?
They were also 10/1 last week. Win over Penn didn’t move the needle. I might be willing to negotiate them at 8/1.
Feel like they could be walking into a hornet’s nest at Westfield if chalk holds this weekend.
Temp’s Live Betting Odds:
Lawrence North - 3/1
Westfield - 3/1
Brownsburg - 4/1
Center Grove - 6/1
Crown Point - 10/1
Warren Central - 10/1
Fishers - 12/1
Carroll (Fort Wayne) - 20/1
We have spent enough time on here criticizing Crown Point. Let's not deflect from the fact that the HCC still folds annually in the playoffs and not let them off the hook. They have 3 of the 8 teams remaining in 6A but that number could be down to 1 after Friday night.
I mean, if you can get a team from ARIZONA on the schedule, anything is possible right? Center Grove and Carmel sure as hell figured it out pretty quickly.
People seem to get easily offended but the facts don't lie. Outside of the moral victory claimed above by Penn, the numbers are what they are.
Not saying its impossible but giving folks a hard time because they have to see it to believe it is outrageous.
I'll be the first on here to congratulate Crown Point if they pull if off by the way.
