Just went back and checked and I leapfrogged New Pal over Chatard in week 4 when the Trojans were soundly defeated by Cathedral (no shame in that) whereas New Pal rolled what I consider a respectable Pendleton Heights team. New Pal has done nothing to warrant being dropped and others beyond that top 7-8 have been fairly inconsistent. Just found it interesting. Wrong plenty.

Yep, and you are the drum…one of a handful on here. I wanna see folks’ potential point spreads on Crown Point versus the entirely of the HCC on neutral field. Then do the same for the DAC and Westfield/Brownsburg.

This dude is now taking a victory lap because Crown Point could handle Perry Meridian, Southport, Tech, North Central and Pike. I’m not sure they confidently beat ANY HCC team. They’d be favored over most of the league but not by much.

Because New Pal is not being asked to go through three teams with top 15 schedules. They are a 4A team. I have not eliminated the possibility that Crown Point gets through Carroll and Westfield...but asking them to get through those two and whomever awaits in the south? A tall order.

I get that from both a sentimental standpoint as well as being back into a corner it seems, but from the looks of it, Arizona has less than half the amount of football playing high schools as Indiana so I am not sure how impressive the 22nd ranking is. I wanna see Crown Point take on an Indy team and hope it is in the works soon.

As I have stated previously, Crown Point (by no fault of their own) has become the latest 6A non-Indy team to claim the "disrespect card" but can you really blame people with the history of the 5A and now 6A tournament? Carroll broke through a couple of years ago and CP last year, but both were soundly defeated in Lucas Oil. (Also, if you want people to take you seriously, don't schedule a game against a mediocre team from Arizona nor print "champions of the north" t-shirts.)
