Which is dumb. Let’s say OSU sneaks by PSU in two weeks and that is the Nittany Lions’ only loss…they gonna drop to 7-8 and then waltz into the playoff, with a possible home game to boot. Conference title game losers gonna get screwed for playing an extra game. Certainly if it’s OSU in this scenario though, Ryan Day will just get the rules changed immediately afterwards.

Don’t see Illinois beating Oregon and the real winner in this scenario is the team that finishes third in the tiebreaker. I know the winner gets a bye but the conference title games just don’t mean much and the 3rd place team (whether 11-1 or 10-2) gets an extra week off anyway…and a likely home game, especially if they are actually 11-1.

But what I’m saying mote specifically is that it was widely believed that with time, Peyton was a can’t miss prospect. You can’t come anywhere close to that assertion with Richardson. At the end, the 4 division winners play semi-finals. Two winners of that play for the overall conference title. East: Rutgers, Maryland, Penn State, ?, ? Midwest: Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, Central: Illinois, Northwestern, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa West: USC, UCLA, Oregon, Washington, Nebraska These would obviously shift around depending upon who is added.

Not hopeful. Quarterback play is everything in this sport and Michigan doesn't have it.
