  1. This may be one of Chatard’s best teams. Very high strength of schedule, yet have dominated every team except Cathedral. HH has found ways to win against some pretty good teams that are also rivals (GS, Southridge). Sagarin has The Trojans as #6 in the state. Sagarin don’t lie in November. Chatard 34 Jay Cutler HS 16
  2. I know nothing about these 2 teams and I’m too lazy to read @foxbat’s analysis. But, LCC has done this a whole bunch of times..... kind of like Sheridan used to. I don’t want to say Catholics play football better than Lutherans, but give me LCC in a mild upset 21-13.
  3. You won’t convince me Valpo has a defense any better or even as good as CG or Cathedral. New Pal is the 2019 king of Indiana High School Football! New Palestine Dragons 38 Valparaiso Vikings 10
  4. It’s always good to be the king. You have to play better than the champs to knock them off the throne. But, these teams are no strangers to each other. Webo prevails, 27-21.
  5. Yes and I was correct! That was after 5 games. I also predicted after sectionals that CG would be at LOS. As far as predictions, CG has obviously improved leaps and bounds. Take away Ben Davis’ on side recovery followed by a blown coverage and this game would really never have been in doubt. But Carmel has come together and have been dominating, especially defensively. Give me my alma mater 24-20.
  6. Getting "Bad Gateway" if I try to switch games. I'm going to have to pick a game and stick with it.
  7. I got to think being at home for the Warriors and this being the game to go to LOS, that for most of the 1st half this will be a tight game. No prediction, but the 2nd half will separate the hot dogs from the weinies.
  8. I have no beef, or tomatoes, with T. We get along fine!
  9. "when they bump back down to 5A, they will be among the favorites annually before eventually moving back up to 6A due to increasing enrollment" Ha! You know you didn't do research with the post. Perhaps the IHSAA had already decided to move Z'ville down for one year, but their enrollment will immediately move them back up to 6A at the next cycle. They will not be "among the favorites annually" in 5A.
  10. This is a bunch of crap mis-information. Zionsville is 6A because of enrollment. And, they will only get bigger. They are in 6A to stay.
  11. This game means 2 games for the Texans. A Colts win would mean the division lead AND the tie breaker advantage. A Houston win would mean the Colts are just one game out and still would win the division if they are the Texans tie.
  12. So for probably the hundredth time you quote Snider’s illustrious past in losing to Carmel. You are so proud of this! I guess next year when Carmel goes south your posts will actually be legitimate!
  13. Not getting the muffed punt call right is a direct result in the lack of camera angles. This was not a network marquee game, so not as many cameras were in play. I see this on Sundays some times also. I too was puzzled they at least didn’t stop and review for targeting. But, I never thought while watching that PSU was getting any type of advantage. I agree that IU squandered opportunities, but in the past I would have expected a 35-14 type of game. This is a very good football team.
  14. Yeah, I didn’t mean “smarts” as in mental ability. I meant he’s not seeing the field and what is opening up. He’s every bit as accurate as Luck, but just needs more game experience.
  15. Well, the old "Run the Damn Ball" motto of the Colts front line was taken to heart against Jacksonville Sunday and it paid huge dividends. I hope this continues because Brissett does not yet have the smarts to throw downfield consistently. Let the defense and the running game control Houston. Then we control the AL South.
  16. It was disappointing to see IU dropped from the top 25 even though they gave themselves a chance to beat PSU. Perhaps if that "Chuck Pagano fake punt" fiasco wouldn't have happened they might have pulled this one out. I think this proves a couple of things......1. IU should be very competitive against Michigan, perhaps even favored. 2. PSU will have nothing for Ohio State.
  17. Especially against those offensive juggernauts Zionsville, Perry Meridian and Southport!
  18. I'd say the bet is on your IQ. Define "a chance", as in points. Then you have a bet.
  19. Irish should have been called for holding on that 4th down conversion. QB would have been sacked but left guard held up enough that he just got the ball released.
