  1. So, I have questions.... The Evansville Crimson Giants ? 10 Evansville Central players from 1921-22 played “professionally” for this team. NOT NFL ! How many others on this list are not NFL players?
  2. They’ve had one coach! I’ve searched the internet for a list of all-time wins for each school. Does that exist?
  3. I’m totally ignorant on this. I’d like to see a compilation of high school players that played in the league.... both past and present.
  4. Pre- tournament in the 60’s Evansville Reitz in ‘61 shut out every opponent. That only adds to a historic record for what is not a very large school. Carmel in the 60’s was the small (5-600 students) playing and beating the Indy township schools..... Lawrence, Warren and North Central. Bloomington had that long winning streak, 80 some games I believe, from the mid-60’s to 1973.
  5. Remember the CGfan who was a high school student who kept betting that CG would beat Roncalli, one time even saying he'd never post again if Roncalli won......... only to see Roncalli win 2 or 3 in a row. He was a good kid, went on to college and I hope he's a successful man today!
  6. Still waiting on DT for his "educated" take on who should coach this program.😉
  7. They are growing. They will not be in the HHC is 5-7 years because of growth. Possible HCC or MIC future? As far as Coach Ralph, it seems like he has this program going like Center Grove. Oversee's the youth program, etc.
  8. Sagarin is mostly based on who you played and who your opponents played. (In state games only) Avon is not being penalized for losing 1 game even though it was the 1st game of the tourney. We’ll never know how good or bad Avon was.
  9. I’m assuming New Pal and Cathedral are both in the same regional next year. If so, I think the Irish would win that game (I know, a way too early prediction) and New Pal would not move up.
  10. You are truly laughable. 99% of 4 star athletes go D1. Why? Because they are 4 star!
  11. What the heck are you talking about? Most D1 athletes are not 4 star.
  12. Being a janitor at Carmel doesn’t make you very reliable. Especially when you sight wiki.
  13. You had 2 chances to prove this statement but failed both times.
  14. No it wasn't. You're making that up to fit your narrative.
  15. Of all the crazy things DT proposes, he did get this one right. You need to study your history. From the MIC Conference's own website: MIC History The MIC Conference was originally started as a “football conference.” As Carmel, Warren Central, Ben Davis and North Central grew in size and in football stature, it was more and more difficult to find opponents in that sport, without traveling around the Hoosier state or across the borders. The “Super Conference” as it was originally nicknamed, sent out invites to schools throughout Indiana, with hopes that four more schools would join.
  16. Noblesville loses athletes to Guerin. But there are plenty in that school that can be harvested. Just like when Kevin Wright went to Warren, he dove head first into the student body and got guys to hit the weights and awoke a sleeping giant. I'm not saying Noblesville could ever be a Warren Central, but there are potentials roaming those halls.
  17. I feel beat up and tired just reading this thread and I don’t go both ways!
  18. .....and Carmel had Mark Herrmann in ‘75. Valpo played their trump card, bone chilling temperature and -20 wind chill.
  19. IU simply beat the teams they were supposed to beat, unlike teams of the past. They are supposed to beat Purdue. Michigan's physicality almost knocked the rest of the season out of the Hoosiers. The O'line was simply too slow and too small for the fast Michigan defense. Ramsey seldom had more than 2 seconds to unload. Seems Harbaugh took this game seriously and had his boys pumped and ready. But they will still get blown out by T OSU.
  20. This game! This game! Not the marquee game of the weekend but this could be the most exciting one to watch! I’m back and forth on this, EM plays in a very tough SIAC and did very well (tied for 1st). East Noble is no stranger to Indy and comes in undefeated and #1 in Sagarin for 4A. Took Hobart’s best punch then knocked them out. East Noble 34 E. Memorial 28
