Max Preps does not have the roster for this year yet, but from last year’s Max Preps roster there were 28 juniors listed so if they are all playing this year that would be a big senior class

Nah, I don’t believe that. IU has lost at historic levels for decades with many different coaches and changing landscapes. First year with Cig, they set a school record for wins and make the CFP. Every D1 coach had the same opportunity as Cig last year with the transfer portal and NIL and we see the results. Second year for IU looks promising as well.

Yeah, I forgot IU beat Michigan in 2020. As far as QB’s go, no reason that Michigan shouldn’t have a 5 star recruit every year at QB. Not buying that excuse for a second. I would say that Mendoza has a chance to be a top 3 QB in the Big 10 this year.

You forgot, lost to Indiana, who hadn’t beaten Michigan since 1987. 37 years. Took Moore one year to do it. With a roster full of 4 and 5 star players against an Indiana team absent of those same type of players. With a bunch of James Madison players, 2 and 3 star recruits. First year D1 head coach in Cignetti. Yeah, every advantage in the book and lost to IU. Good job Moore, let’s keep him around…

No bias at all. Never been a Michigan fan, especially with a scumbag like Harbaugh cheating his way to a title. To be fair, not a Buckeye fan either. Just like you, I grew up with the “Big 2 and the Little 8” for 30 years. The only time I root for either Michigan or Ohio State is when they play Notre Dame, Alabama, Texas, or Penn State. When Michigan and Ohio State play, I puke slightly less in my mouth when the Buckeyes win. As far as bias goes, you are the last one to talk as your bias towards Michigan bleeds maize and gold

Have to weigh in on the coaching debate. Moore at Michigan is towards the bottom of the Big 10 in my opinion. Just not a good coach. I mean, I’m happy he is there as he is in over his head. Bottom line, he will be gone within 3 years most likely. Day has proven to be a good coach, not a great coach. Hard to argue his dominant record in the Big 10. Does he get out coached at times? Yep. Do I think he would win at that level at Indiana? Hell no. Cignetti is a great coach. Won at every level he has been. Now he has won at arguably the bottom feeder of the Power 4 conferences at an unprecedented level seen at Indiana. I think he has an even better team at IU this year than he did last year. Not sure if that translates into another CFP berth, but Hell, any IU fan talking about the CFP before last year was in the psycho ward.

Here is what I see Snider having for 2025: Running backs are as deep as we have seen in a long time. There is speed and a basher. Receiving core is good. QB is fast and a running threat, will need to become a threat throwing the ball. Key will be line play. If it is good, watch out. Defense has a chance to be really good. I think the line will be really good, key will be the secondary. Special teams should be pretty good. Excellent kicker and lots of speed in the return game. I think this team is flying under the radar right now. While I am not a fan of their first 2 games, Warsaw and East Noble, maybe it benefits them this year. I think there are a few SAC teams thinking this is the year to beat Snider, we shall see.

Kind of an eye opener to me to see no mention of Snider. Personally, this is usually when the Panthers are at their most dangerous. Here is what I know for the 2025 Snider Panthers: 1) They will run the ball down your throat and get downhill quickly, 2) Speed at QB and running ability should be there, 3) Defense will be good, maybe really good, 4) Special teams will be really good

What are your thoughts playing Snider and Warren Central the first 2 weeks? This is a huge upgrade and Warsaw deserves kudos for aggressively scheduling those 2 teams.

No dispute….yet. Preseason polls mean little, especially with players transferring. We will have a good gauge where teams stand after 3 weeks of play
