The defense Elkhart had was very good, certainly one of the better ones Snider played against this year. Their offense was not very good and is what was holding them back from a deeper run in the playoffs

Penn has a good defense, but that offense has struggled this year. I would be tempted to call for the upset if Penn’s offense was good, but I struggle to see them getting to 14 points and CP is easily going to get to the number. If Penn somehow gets 28 points than CP is not who we all thought they were quoting Dennis Green

I have always had great respect for the Penn program going back to the 80’s and the many battles Snider had with Penn. Nothing against CP at all, just sometimes like to see some old rivals do well

As much as I want to see Penn win this game, CP rolls to a 35-14 victory

I kind of think the opposite, they got rocked by Oregon at home and I think they know their season is finished. They have no offense, no QB, and I think the IU defense is totally underrated at this point. A healthy Rourke will have his way with that defense

Elkhart had 231 yards total offense according to their MaxPrep page so they had 50 yards in the 2nd half. I know Snider had somewhere around 150 yards in the 2nd half so the totals for both teams were about equal

Never thought I would be typing this, but IU is a whopping 14 point favorite over Michigan. As long as Rourke stays healthy, I got IU 38-17 winners in this game

Mississineawa @ Bishop Luers - Great matchup here. Undefeated team against a battle tested team. Don’t think Miss. has seen the talent and speed Luers possesses. While the Luers offense is not great, that defense is pretty good Luers wins 24-21 East Noble @ Bishop Dwenger - A few weeks ago, I would have said this would be a blowout, but things have changed for the Saints. That defense is really good, the offense, not so much. The Knights are a real threat to represent the North at state. I give a slight nod to the Saints defensively, but a big nod to the Knights offensively. East Noble wins 28-14 Snider @ Carroll - A rematch of an earlier game where the Chargers had their way 30-6. Snider has tweaked some things offensively since then and has been more effective while the Panthers defense has been pretty stellar all year. Everything went right for the Chargers in the first meeting and something’s tells me this will be a much closer game. QB Sullivan is the difference. Hope I am wrong, but Carroll wins 28-17
