  1. Come on Temp!!! To compare Prime to Cignetti is utterly ridiculous. His google me comment was to to say he was and has been winner at every level he has been. Prime says it because his ego is bigger than Grand Canyon. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. Cignetti does not promote himself over his players like Prime, does not throw his players under the bus to shift blame from himself like Prime, does not strongly encourage or force his players out of the program like Prime, does not brag to the media daily like Prime, I mean, I can go on and on.
  2. Quick take on Prime, his situation is totally different than Cignetti. Prime is an idiot of epic proportions. That guy is a self promoter, cares nothing about his players beside his kid, throws his players under the bus to the media, and operates as if he is perfect and nothing is his fault. Cignetti made a few statements to ignite the apathetic IU fan base towards football and all he has done is win. What is the problem with this? Love the direction of IU football right now
  3. IU is relevant for the first time ever, 2020 gets an asterisk for every team due to the Pandemic, so not sure what the argument is here. I started this whole mess by saying a 5-0 IU doesn’t happen often, if ever, and also said 11-1 was a possibility and that IU would be favored in every game except Ohio State. There is no arguing that. What Cignetti has done is remarkable, period. If IU avoids in juries, especially at QB, they have a good chance to do something special in Bloomington this year. It is nice to enjoy watching IU this year for once…
  4. I’d trust Sagarin after I flushed it down the toilet
  5. Locksley is a disaster for sure, but they will still be bowl eligible and not finish below .500
  6. Beating Maryland is a legit win. Beat em 42-28 in a game where IU had 4 turnovers and Maryland had none. How often does that happen? Cignetti is a wizard to do this with IU. Could care less if he talks too much when you back it up with wins. At what point ever has IU been a favorite in 11 of their 12 games? Got that answer right here for ya: NEVER.
  7. Ok come on Temp, they are almost bowl eligible!!!Even if they lose a couple winnable games, 9-3 is a marked improvement
  8. Warren went double OT with BD and should have lost while LN destroyed BD in a game that was worse than the final score
  9. Carmel 34 - Ben Davis 17 Center Grove 28 - Cathedral 21 Lawrence North 28 - Warren Central 7 Pike 42 - Guerin Catholic 14 Lawrence Central 42 - North Central 7
  10. Westfield 42 - Avon 10 Brownsburg 35 - Zionsville 7 Fishers 28 - Franklin Central 21 HSE 24 - Noblesville 21
  11. I got Penn winning something like 24-21
  12. Homestead QB won’t make a difference against Carroll, Chargers will roll. If Snider runs the ball 90% of the time against Northrop, they will score every time they have the ball barring turnovers. Getting shutout depends how bad Tippman wants a shutout…
  13. I would say the 3 best teams in the state in 5A last year…
  14. For sure. 5-0 for IU has been a pipe dream for so long it is easy to get a bit excited. How often have we went into every game but one a favorite? We avoid Penn State, USC, and Oregon, get a down Michigan team, a beatable Nebraska team, a beatable Michigan State team, Northwestern who we should beat by double digits, and lowly Purdue. Table is set, just gotta eat Tossup games are all at home
  15. Carroll 35 - Homestead 14 - Chargers roll Sparty Luers 21 -Dwenger 14 - Knights are just better than the Saints North Side 35 -South Side 14 - Lack of discipline doesn’t hurt them against the Archers Wayne 42 - Concordia 13 - Generals played Carroll tough last week, it gets much easier against the Cadets Snider 42 - Northrop 14 - Panthers roll the Bruins by running the ball down their throat
  16. Stated perfectly. If Warren continues to turnover the ball 3-4 times per game as they are now, really good teams will make you pay. I am not sure if their offense is even average, I would put them below average. Defense is great for sure, but that alone won’t win them the state title
  17. Ok, I am in on the Hoosiers folks. Here is the rest of the schedule: At Northwestern - 13 point favorite 85% chance to win Nebraska - 71% chance to win Washington - 73% chance to win Michigan - 68% chance to win At Ohio State - 17% chance to win Purdue - 94% chance to win Per ESPN analytics IU is a sizable favorite in every remaining game except vs. Ohio State. 11-1 would be incredible, but having watched every opponent on the schedule it is very doable
  18. Let’s be honest, the other polls don’t know 🤬.
  19. Let’s discuss the conundrum of Warren Central. Their best win is Snider yet they are #6. Who are they beating in the top 10? 20+ turnovers in 6 games. Lawrence North is up next week and I see a loss coming for Warren. Hey, maybe they prove me wrong, but LN just pounded Ben Davis and dropped 58 points on them while Warren squeaked by BD by 3 points in double overtime. Very interested to see this game
  20. BD is looking at 3-6 realistically. Loss to Carmel to go 1-6 and then Lawrence Central and North Central likely wins. Sorry, they aren’t beating Brownsburg, no how, no way
  21. Where do you have Ben Davis? Using that rational, a 1-5 team that has zero quality wins shouldn’t even dream of sniffing the top 25
  22. Now, I am not going to tell you Snider is a top 10 team one bit, but Decatur Central, Mishawaka, Evansville Memorial, and Concord just would not beat Snider.
  23. So was doing all those crazy things we did as teenagers, but doesn’t mean I would want to be a teenager again
