I think Snider’s defense is really good, I want to see them shutdown a good East Noble team that will throw the ball better than Warren. I want to see a running back pound the ball down the throat of a defense. I want to see a QB show confidence and have a swagger on the field. I want to see a team who doesn’t have 10 penalties at the worst times. I want to see a resounding victory that begins to help me recover from the nightmare that I watched Friday night. If I watched this game on summitcitysports in my home, I would have had a 6 pack to start the game and been hammered by the 4th quarter after gouging my eyes out, but alas, I was at the game with no alcohol. Bad decision

Yes. Tell me who the running back is cuz he sure wasn’t there Friday night. I saw primarily a main guy, not much from a backup, and it was rough. Nobody hit the hole like they should, and believe me, there were holes. Longest runs were QB keepers. QB play was not good, better than Warren’s, but that is not saying much. There is potential with the receivers for sure, but who is going to get them the ball? I am almost scared to ask the question, who is the best defense in the state??? Very subjective at this point either way as there are a lot of teams out there with a very small sample size.

That’s rough bro. 3 losses for Snider in the regular season doesn’t seem to be a stretch for me. They will be an underdog at Carroll and then you Homestead, North Side, Dwenger, Luers, and Wayne. I personally don’t want to see you take a break for any length of time, but I fully expect a 3 loss regular season now. Defense will keep us in games, but I have been around a long time and I don’t see the potential with the offense at all

Isn’t it kind of funny that we have reversed roles a bit here? No way, no way any fan should leave that game feeling good about the overall performance. Both teams have really good defenses, last I checked, there is a thing called offense that determines whether or not you score points and win the game. East Noble will give Snider trouble, just wait. As far as Warren goes, they are not a serious contender either with how porous that offense looked. To be accurate, Warren had 5 turnovers, Snider 2. Warren ran the ball decently, couldn’t throw worth crap other than the 80 yard touchdown that was thrown 15 yards and ran 65 yards. Snider had decent success in the air minus the 2 interceptions, but couldn’t run the ball for crap. I think both teams will struggle, Snider might go 6-3, Warren 6-3 as well.

I agree at this point. Hell, I see Snider struggling with East Noble next week. Warren is hard for me to take seriously as well. That offense was awful. Good running back, horrid QB play. Not going to beat good teams with 5 turnovers week after week no matter how good your defense is. I give much more credence right now to Brownsburg, Cathedral, HSE, Westfield as the top 4 teams

Actually this is not accurate. Snider did intercept a pass in the end zone but it was negated due to an offside call so they could have had 4 interceptions hence why I said the starter for Warren was bad. You are also failing to mention Snider missing 2 field goals as well. Really, it should have been an 8-6 final score, but Snider gives up an 80 yard TD pass with multiple missed tackles on a 3rd and 26 early in the 4th quarter. The argument could be made that both offenses were hapless… Backup QB was way better than the starter

Warren had 3 interceptions, 1 running back fumble, and 1 fumbled punt, all recovered by Snider. Snider had 2 turnovers. Both offenses were bad, Snider’s was worse. It was a very ugly game…

What words would you like used? Bad? Terrible? Awful? Crappy? They all mean the same thing. Not sure any one word would adequately describe the offense last night for Snider. Knowing some of the coaches and plenty of former players who played for those coaches including brothers, friends, and nephews, I guarantee you those words will be used to describe their offensive play last night. I will not be part of the new culture of today and be soft, I will always say exactly what I am seeing. As far as your statement about the best defensive line ever in Indiana football history, that’s just ridiculous. Asking anyone to try and remember another team with a more stacked defensive line over the last 60 years is a lot. Are they really good? Yes. As you stated yourself, the Panther offensive line is a work in progress and very inexperienced so that helped in making that defensive line look even better than it was. Points will be scored against that defense this year I can assure you. Points should have been scored against that defense last night. Warren is definitely a top 3 team in the state right now. Will they go undefeated? I highly doubt it. Their offense turned the ball over 4 times last night, starting QB was bad, and big plays are available against that defense. They are definitely one of the favorites to win a state title, but over hyping them to make you feel better about where Snider really is today is not prudent.

Best ever in the state? Hyperbole my friend. There were plays right there for Snider, just poor execution. As good as Warren was on defense, their QB was equally horrid, especially their starter. #17 was better for sure. Offensively, Warren ran the ball better than Snider, but they struggled to move the ball as well. Look, you can say Snider will be fine, but East Noble awaits next week for the Panthers and I see another potential loss for Snider if they have another putrid offensive showing.

Ok, great seats for this one and it was the worst offensive performance by a Snider Panthers team in well over a decade. Yes, Warren has an excellent defensive team, probably top 3 in the state, but let’s not sugarcoat how putrid the offensive performance was. QB play was subpar at best, horrid at worst. Missed wide open receivers at least 3 times that would have likely went to the house. RB play was flat out terrible. Put Uriah Buchanan back there and this would have been a Snider win. While I will acknowledge that good line play is vital to a good running attack, missing holes and not hitting those holes hard just kills a team. Defense played fine, 2 big plays hurt them and were touchdowns. Got 4 turnovers and that should be good enough to win with a competent offense. The use of Logan had me confused on the offensive side of the ball. Get him the ball on a bubble screen, on a fly pattern, something. Running him 3 straight plays out of the wildcat when everyone in the stadium knew what as coming makes no sense. Really good play by the defense, very poor play by the offense…

Warren has a very good defense, period. Snider’s offense was absolutely inept, worst display of offense in at least 10 years, probably longer. No running back to speak of, QB play other than a couple keepers was poor. If this doesn’t change quickly, it could be a long year…

Snider and Warren tied at zero at halftime. Both defenses are really good, way too many penalties by both teams, Warren’s offense looks better than Snider’s, at least running the ball, think this game is going to come down to special teams and possibly a defensive touchdown. Snider needs to find a running back out of this. Also, any dummy that thought either of these teams were going to score in the 30’s against the other defense, well….👎

I will be in attendance for this game to get a first hand look at both teams. This is almost a no win game for Snider, if they win, everyone will be saying Warren is overrated, if they lose, everyone will be saying last year was a fluke. Oh well…
