There’s not a better high school football coach in the state of Indiana than Tim Able. -

Hey Coach me and Big Santa were talking after our loss last night. We need to get together this off-season. We’ll do whatever we need to for that to happen. -
Best Young Coaches In the State
Woody_Hayes replied to Urban_Legend's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
There are some good young coaches coming up in the WRC right now. None are Varsity head coaches yet, but they’ll be great when they get their chance. Robby Davis coaches WR/DB and is head JV coach at North Vermillion. Joe Culbreath is the head Jr High coach and Director of football operations for the 7-12 grade program at North Vermillion. Nate Bryan is OL/DL and DC at Parke Heritage. Scott Moore is the DC at Seeger. Look for all of these men to be successful when they get their shot. -

@Warriorfan much appreciated. Lutheran has a great team. -
PARKE HERITAGE vs NORTH VERMILLION

Thank you @Oldbleacherfan much appreciated. Your son is a great player and I know how proud of him you must be. It was a shame that a team had to lose Friday night because both teams played so hard. I also enjoyed the mutual respect and sportsmanship between both teams. That was just two incredible games between two good teams. -

I’m sorry. I have no idea about the seating arrangement. I’m just trying to figure out how to beat the best coach in the history of the Wabash River Conference for the second time in the same season. I’d bring lawn chairs just to be safe. -

As for what matters most, where did you decide to eat? -
WRC Sectional Round 1

I lived in Greencastle for 8 years. Cool town to live in. My family always enjoyed the Friday night seafood buffet at the Putnam Inn. We ate crab legs until we were almost sick. Located on the North side of town right on 231. -
I’m headed to Bridgeton for this year’s new wolf blanket!

Blind Draw - An Absolute Tragedy
Woody_Hayes replied to BTF's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I’m indifferent about this year’s draw. Should’ve known what was coming when I ran into Covington’s QB at the County Market today. He’s a great kid, by the way. Recently I’ve had some great draws. Before that, I’ve had some of the worst draws possible. In either scenario, the draw affected the tournament. That sucks and is incredibly ignorant. There is a reason why Indiana is the only state that does our play-off this way. It’s not because our blind draw is “unique”. It’s because the IHSAA is a lazy cash cow. -

Thank you, Commissioner Cox, for weighing in on the discussion. lol -
It’s wolf blanket week. Does anyone know which Covered Bridge festival location has the best selection of wolf blankets?
-
Yep, looks like we’re getting wet tonight! Let’s just hope it’s rain only and no lightning so we don’t have to delay/postpone.
-
Fact. Muncie is the first place I had it a while back. I’ve visited three other locations and Muncie ranks first.
-
That’s the one. There and Lebanon are the closest two for me.

Since I’ve been running around the WRC all fall watching volleyball I feel properly prepared to release my WRC Pizza King ranking. 1. Attica 2. West Lebanon 3. Rockville 4. Veedersburg There really is no bad Pizza King For my pizza fans, next time you’re in the Indianapolis/Lafayette/Muncie area find a Greek’s Pizza establishment and order a Greek’s Special. My favorite pizza out their right now.
-
All of it Donnie. I like all of the pizza. Their thin crust has a subtle hint of smokiness that comes through just right.

The first thing my post said was “I’m proud of our JV football team and coaches”. Literally the first words of the post. There was no jab at your coach or high school after that. I posted that you all had cancelled in a way that was obviously surprised or confused. Add the over sensitive butt hurt and here we are. Then you brought it to the gridiron digest. Gotta love our disfunctional WRC family!
-
I do respect Coach Moore. Don’t know who made the call on the JV game or why, when you all had a bunch of kids dressed out and standing on the sidelines Friday night. You all come off as pretty butt hurt over simple questions about why you chose not to play a JV game.
-
Looked like you had a bunch dressed out Friday night. Lots of kids standing on the sidelines. I’ve sent 12 kids to play a JV game before and finished the game with 10 so that they could get some PT.

Female football players

You are correct. Her name is Annie Wickens and she does a great job getting our end zone film. -

North Vermillion’s kicker is McKenzie Crowder. She does a great job. -
I don’t know man. I have a ton of respect for Coach Moore, and I’ve reached out to him on advice several times. He’s been a great mentor to me since I’ve joined the WRC. Some of my best games have been battling him, because he’s so good at what he does. He’s a damn good football coach, and trying to beat him has been very good for me professionally. Iron sharpens iron.
