  1. Nope, I disagree. Parke Heritage offense was their best defense at that point. If you’re trying to win the game, you try to convert the 4th down and then bleed the fairly new 40 second play clock. Coach Moore made the right call. He believed in himself and his guys. The dudes won 80% of his games because he’s dang good.
  2. Ouch Reb, but you’re not wrong lol. The latest issue seems to be the school’s WiFi. The film is up now.
  3. He’s from Fountain County I believe. Regardless, he’s a tough out.
  4. Dude, I’m a proud son of Ohio, and my home is in Vermillion County. Those are the places I’m from. I love Amishville and the folks down there, but I’m not “from” there. Accuracy matters 😂
  5. What. A. Game. I continue to be impressed with Parke Heritage. They played their tails off tonight. It was everything North Vermillion could do to pull out a win. Just an awesome night of football.
  6. Relax and enjoy the week. We don’t get many like this. Personally, I don’t believe in bulletin board material. If you have to motivate your team with outside material, there may be a flaw in your operation. Now, I will admit that I find myself laughing at some of the garbage on here, and it may or may not have changed how I pronounce wolves, but it’s all for fun I think.
  7. The coaching staff at Attica does a GREAT job year after year. Their kids are tough, physical, and they play hard. That comes from their coaches.
  8. You know what the WRC thread is missing? ROXFAN! I watched Parke Heritage play North Vermillion’s youth league teams Saturday. Neither game was competitive, but I think some of that had to do with NV having some strong classes coming through at the youth level. I think that after the Parke Heritage kids play together more, you’ll see an improvement. They are in the early stages of developing a feeder system, so it’s going to take some time getting up to speed. They’ll be fine though in time.
  9. Big one in Attica this week. I love playing at Bruce field.
  10. Correct, North Vermillion has a digital down marker.
  11. I taught with John Strader at Cloverdale. He is a great guy.
  12. Good stuff. Nice to see the discussion moving in this direction.
  13. Yeah. Check your private messages. Stir away if you want to, I’m good.
  14. Love the new mercy rule. JV kids still get to play. Not as much stress about a kid getting hurt when the game has already been decided. Buffalo chicken wings in my mouth earlier. Big fan here.
  15. Going to be in Frankfort Saturday and might need to kill some time. Is there a "can't miss" place to eat?
  16. More about Terry McLaurin. Urban Meyer loves him. Proud of the way he represents Indiana. https://twitter.com/OSUCoachMeyer/status/1104153690020212736?s=19
  17. I'm a big fan of Terry McLaurin. He's very highly thought of in the football program at the Ohio State University. http://://www.landgrantholyland.com/platform/amp/2019/4/27/18520115/video-ohio-state-terry-mclaurin-washington-redskins-draft-pick-phone-call
  18. Luke Fickell has done a great job with the Bearcats. Cincy is a good place to be right now.
  19. It's a tough job if you have balls and/or integrity.
  20. My post above wasn't meant to say one stance is better or worse than the other. If your kids are coached up they both work fine. We communicate our play calls by using signals, and we like to change the play sometimes after the defense lines up. It's easier to do that out of a 2 pt stance, so that's what we use. I don't think it matters what size the school is, we all have to coach against dudes relative to our level, especially in the later rounds of the play-offs.
  21. We have our guys come out of a two point stance on offense. We're a run-heavy spread offense. Throw it maybe 15 times a game. Inside zone, power, counter, stretch. 2 pt stance hasn't hurt our run game at all.
  22. I met Coach Schnur and his program this past year. From the outside looking in, I think he's doing a great job at Bosse.
