I feel that in larger school settings, this is a tough task to accomplish.

Smaller schools have Dean of Students/AD positions.

Spent the night at Connies the night before my wedding. That is a night field with stories still be retold 15 years later.

We drive by Westfield all the time when heading up to visit family. My son loves the field at Westfield.

2A North is loaded with heavyweights. Luers, Andrean, Eastbrook, Pioneer, and a lot of solid programs beneath them.

Is Clay going to be around for the foreseeable future? If they were cease in its current form, that could impact the current divisions.

As of right now Bremen has 2 options. Join the HNAC or stay in the NIC. What does the NIC look like going forward? What is happening with Clay? Now that Marian is in the North, how does that effect the schedule? It has been said that the gate receipts for sports are down comparative to when Bremen was in the NSC? Why? Many reasons, first dropping Plymouth, Valley has lost fan interest, Glenn has lost fan interest, Jimtown has lost fan interest. Bremen isn't without fault either, we aren't bringing the largest draw on the road anymore. Bremen needs to do an audit of everything athletic. Are they doing everything to provide the best opportunity for its athletes? This starts with the AD, is he a leader or a paper pusher? Are the coaches dedicated or are they seat fillers? Are parents on board? Are the athletes buying in? If they are not, why? Is the current conference the best option or are there other viable options? I hope they take a good hard look at everything from the top down, and don't make a change for the sake of change.

At this point, Bremen is surveying its options.

Saw the report of the initial report on Eagle Country yesterday morning and noticed the time. I prayed that it wasn't a student. As a parent and educator, when I see news of a fatal crash, I always prayer that it didn't involve someone young. Later in the day I saw the news out of East Central. God Bless his family and his community.

For me it is all 3. I am very petty, and hate when others succeed over the teams I favor. Scott Skiles was a John Glenn kid that transferred for athletic reasons. So that is a reason for some animosity.

As much as I hate them, I love Jack Edison.

I live in Southeastern Indiana, I don't have a football team to follow. My local school doesn't have football. In the area, I like seeing Switzerland County and North Decatur do well. Switz just started football a few years ago, but are showing signs of growth. I like to see what Lawrenceburg is doing. Don't really care for Batesville and Greensburg in most sports.

Polar opposite question here: What programs do you have the utmost respect for and enjoy watching them succeed outside of your own rooting interests? What programs do you have animosity for and chuckle when they lose? I respect Jimtown. Love to see those guys do well. I despise Plymouth. When they lose, I smile.

I grew up in Bremen, still follow the football team. I moved down here about 5 years ago. A group of my friends have started putting together a travel team after low participation and quality in the rec leagues in our area.

We are team based out of Ripley County. We are comprised up of kids from Jac-Cen-Del and South Ripley. We want to schedule are handful of games this spring. Please reach out to me if you know of any teams.

Does anyone know if schools test for PED's or is it just pot, nicotine, alcohol, coke, meth, heroin?

Bremen has had drug testing for close to 20 years for anyone that drives or is involved with extracurriculars.

I hope Bremen can keep Marian on the schedule.

Schools are not actively hiring individuals who coach, and many more educators want nothing to do with coaching.

Any news on what direction Triton is going with their coaching search?

Bremen needs to mature physically and mentally. The underclassmen will now be stepping in. The class of 2019 had been stallions for the program all four years. Bremen also needs to find a way to increase numbers. We need to build depth.
