How can CG compete with a school that has 2k more students? I feel horrible for CG having to play this game.

All of it, super young team.. graduated 32 seniors last year. Next year they should be pretty good, but this year will be a struggle.. obviously they opened up with 2 teams better than anyone else in the HHC, but hoping with Seymour coming up East can get a little confidence going. East while losing 28-7 to Whiteland looked decent… East losing 28-0 to North today, they looked AWFUL. I understand they are young and seasons like this will happen.

IF CE doesn’t find offense everyone will look forward to playing CE… These boys better figure it out real quick. I expected a rebuild but didn’t expect them to be this bad.

No I compared them to Columbus East, Memorial, Cathedral and themselves.. What I did say tho, was everyone thought it was a great idea for this rule when Cathedral and Chatard were thumping people like tambourines at a tribal ceremony.

Columbus North - 21 Columbus East - 0 30 seconds til half. This East offense is absolutely pathetic… the least explosive team East has had since this run started back in 2003/2004. Literally zero threat on the offensive side of the ball.

In one of the most bizarre plays I’ve seen in a while, East QB Duncan takes off on a QB keeper on what looks to be a 65 yard TD run (he’s a good 7-8 yards in front of everyone) and loses the ball on the 10 yard line and North recovers.. never seen anything like it.

They bumped up 1 class… won a state title in 5A and have stayed in 5A. It’s an accomplishment.. Pretty sure only 4 schools have bumped up and won a state title (Columbus East, New Pal, Memorial and Cathedral) with only Columbus East and Cathedral bumping up and having to play 2 classes above their normal class. While it sucks for current kids, we all thought it was a great idea when Cathedral and Chatard were winning title after title prior to the implementation of this success factor.

Penn is going to get absolutely torn to shreds. They are NOT a good football team this year lol.

New Albany always has the speed, never a team. Has to be one of the most disappointing teams with all the athletes they have year in and year out. Flat out pitiful. My guess wasn’t far off at all.
