    Was about to say the same thing. CE returns to 5A after being in 6A the last 2 years. They will be a top 10 team.

    Cathedral isn’t losing this year. This team might be the best of all Cathedral teams if they can stay healthy.

    Cathedral will more than likely be the best team in the state this year regardless of class. They return an absolute ton off last years team, and probably will actually be better this year than last year. Columbus East and New Pal are in the same sectional now since CE is back in 5A.. Those 2 schools have split 2-2 in 4 matchups..

    Columbus East picked up Chatard for the upcoming year.

    Line play pushed East over the edge when Miller came around.. both state championships were anchored by extremely high level line play. The offenses were high level running juggernauts.

    If Miller leaves it would be the single worst loss East could have taken outside of Gaddis leaving.

    Columbus East has named defensive coordinator Eddie Vogel as the new head coach of the program. Coach Vogel has spent many of years under Coach Gaddis at Columbus East.. this story is confirmed and can be found on therepublic.com

    I love the Lou Holt's approach, but as long as Cathedral arrives safely on the team buses this name is blowout city.

    Kind of hard to make throws when the QB is running for his life and being planted into the turf 60% of the time.

    I think Roncalli is just as good as Westfield.. maybe I'm wrong, but I was super impressed with what they did in the state tournament and how they turned it on.

    I’ve taken plenty of peoples money and turned them into donations on here. People make outlandish comments and either are so dumb they believe what they said or they won’t bet at all. LOL

    They are trying to keep people away from more than one game. I understand why they are doing this.. this season is obviously different from past seasons.

    Castle way way outmatched this evening. I think anybody that knew anything about high school football knew this is how this game was going to go.

    After 1 quarter of play. Cathedral - 178 yards of total offense Castle - 23 yards of total offense

    14-0 2:51 1st quarter.. if they are going to scare Cathedral, right now would be a time to start.

    They won’t have to look far if they choose the right guy.... he stands about 6’6 and weighs close to 300lbs... (guesses on both). I’m guessing Bob will have a say in the hiring process no matter who it is

    Now that it has been confirmed it can be posted.. Article has been posted on the Columbus newspaper site.. Gaddis has had an amazing football coaching career which includes 2 state titles at CE. I wish nothing but the best for Coach Gaddis.

    Most discussions are much more entertaining than what this game is going to be. Irish are going to boat race Castle. I would be shocked if it was less than a 40 point game.
