New Albany always has the speed, never a team. Has to be one of the most disappointing teams with all the athletes they have year in and year out. Flat out pitiful. My guess wasn’t far off at all.

I think East will beat CN.. East lost 32 seniors last year, but played toe to toe with Whiteland (regardless of the score) was 14-7 at half, East had the ball on the 4 yard line with 1st and goal at the end of the 3rd and fumble the ball.. Whiteland scored its last TD with 33 seconds left to make it the final margin.. This is East' down year, next year should be pretty good. I still stick with my statement, I think GS will thump New Albany. GS is an extremely good team.

Just saying, we are in the same conference as NA and every year they can't play defense, I gave them the benefit this year and they got absolutely destroyed by South.. GS beat down a decent CN team week 1... GS might be the best team in 3A, if not they are def top 3.

East is projected to be down this year.. 32 seniors graduated last year, new coach, extremely young. Played Whiteland tough for majority of the game. East fumbled on 1st and Goal from the 4 at the end of the 3rd, that was a killer for them the game was 21-7.. Whiteland put up the final TD with about 90 seconds left. Hats off to the Warriors, a great football team.

I agree, talk about a turnaround! GS faithful and southwest Indians should be very proud and impressed. Big time win.

New Albany will be zero threat to Columbus East' streak this year.. although East lost 28-7 to Whiteland, it was pretty competitive the entire game. South is absolutely taking New Albany to the woodshed.. same ole New Albany it seems, zero defense.. Bloomington South is a pretty darn good football team as well! Congrats Panthers.

Center Grove with a 38-14 victory over Warren this evening. Hard fought game by both teams. CG just has so many weapons to throw at you it's scary.

Cathedral with a 14-0 win tonight to open the season. That defense from Cathedral was extremely good. Picking off Westfield 4 times.. O'Neil from Cathedral throwing for 261 yards.. helluva showing by a Sophmore QB. You got the 2 score margin correct... you just picked the wrong team... you actually have to score to win a game.. weird concept, I know
