I agree as far as lack of protection for him goes. But as far as his injuries, his shoulder ac sprain was from a snowboarding accident. Also, he first experienced pain in the calf in March, and it was in May that he started having ankle pain.

Does this rise to the level of THE biggest bust in franchise history? I know Steve Emtman is high on the list, but damn. The franchise was being built for Luck. I wish him well, but talk about putting the team in a tough spot.

While I am not a supporter of anything the Kochs do or have done, I will never celebrate when someone passes. Any celebration will be reserved for a celebration of the life that has been lost, like family or close friends. But the celebration is toasting the great memories and stories to be told. -

I was just able to see the latest episode. Amazing where the time goes once school starts with the season in full swing. I like the buildup to the season finale. I have a sick feeling that Tate is Beck’s target. -
Officials told our staff that no coaches could be on the field. But watching film this morning of our first opponent, coaches are on the field for both teams. Is it up to the officials whether they allow coaches on the field or not?

Yeah, that is just creepy. -
I made my comment based on his quote. His concern was about the relationship the bishop in Lafayette had with the Archbishop in Indy. He made a decision based on an assumption without actually talking to the bishop. In fact even the Archbishop in Indy has not said anything about the Catholic schools competing against Brebeuf. As a Catholic myself, the notion that suddenly, Brebeuf is no longer Catholic just because the Archbishop says they cannot call themselves a Catholic school is ridiculous.

Thanks for the explanation. I don’t like the idea of a second chance though. The coach knows what he and his team is doing in a situation like this.

My hope is this......take the TD back, and march off 15 on the offense. In cases where we take a knee, the officials will tell the defense we are taking a knee and to take it easy. In every case, the defense has just stood and watched, with no one ready for a play. To me, it falls into that category of trying to deliberately deceive the defense. And I also think it is a completely classless thing to do.

Fixing the College-Dropout Problem

Something else that all the testing and test prep has done. Along these lines, as part of our day Friday, we drove around the various neighborhoods, apartment complexes, motels/inns, and trailer parks where our students come from. One thing very noticeable late in the morning...there were MAYBE 3 kids that we saw playing outside. https://www.wsj.com/articles/to-really-learn-our-children-need-the-power-of-play-11565262002?fbclid=IwAR1vpVHQr2QtcqXdZFo63IhuQGnr--_oRaIRZPLTzK_5MzOB1FIhAd4usmU -

I don't care who gets exposed in all this, and I am sure the details will be sickening, but they need to be brought to light; at least the names of anyone involved. Yeah it sucks he is dead now as it may limit who does get exposed; but the fact is he was a rotten piece of s**t, who had the money and connections to flaunt his perversion. Hopefully, him dying will not hinder anyone getting exposed for the crimes that have been committed. -

Beck overplayed his hand in this one. What a great episode. And even Jamie shows some redeeming quality....might even like him after this lol This was a great episode. The previews said there were only three more episodes of Yellowstone left. Is this the final season of it? -
Fixing the College-Dropout Problem

The push to send everyone to college results in things becoming laws at the State and local level, and even at the federal level to some extent. The push to increase the importance of standardized testing has lead to more remediation time for students, and less time and money for vocational programs. I rarely point back in time to my day when discussing education, BUUUUUUT, our campus alone at Warren Central, and the Walker Career Center had so many opportunities for students. I know that North Central and the J. Everett Light Career Center had them as well. The Walker Career Center had its own restaurant, daycare, computer lab for programming courses, accounting courses, a metal shop, electrical shop, carpentry, horticulture, plumbing, diesel mechanic, auto mechanic, auto body programs. We also had a radio station, a TV station was developing at that time. The bottom line is that when testing was limited to what it was supposed to be; simply checking student progress, schools could focus on getting college bound kids prepared for college, and getting kids bound for other careers well prepared for those. Republicans can decry the problems, but in this State, they sure did more than their share to create the problems. -

Are we REALLY going down the path of comparing mis statements or stupid statements made by Presidents? lol....I sure hope so, this could be fun, even though the current CIC blows away the competition; especially if we get to include twitter. 😂I think he has set the mark so high that no one could ever reach him.
