A bit surprised that nothing has been posted about the foreign policy shift with Turkey. I see a lot of concerns being posted about the Kurds. They are really upset. I saw this posted this morning and am wondering...why are we abandoning them now?

Hoping the Hoosiers can get on a roll here. The next four are definitely winnable. I get that this is a pivotal moment for Allen here. But reality is that there are not a lot of coaches knocking down the door to take the program over. If there is a change even after next season, then it sets the program back yet again. It is a vicious cycle the AD has in place here.

Jones was THE difference maker today. I thought the Cowboys had a horrible gameplan. If they give Elliott the ball 25 times or so, I think they wear down the Packers defense. I am ok with it. That is a huge road win. It was good to see Jimmy Graham make some plays. The crazy thing is, if they beat the Lions next week, they take a firm grip on a tough division. I will be curious to see how the Cowboys respond. Even with two losses, they have a lot of personalities that demand a lot of attention on the field.

OSU historically has started classes late. If I remember right, it usually is around the end of September or beginning of October. I was working the Pan Am games back in 87, and most of the security people around the IUPUI Campus were college aged. The crews changed late in the games because a lot of them were heading back to school. The replacements all came from OSU. They to.d us even back then they did not start classes until the end of September.

I like your top 4 Temptation. I would flip OSU and Clemson at this point. Maybe Clemson is going through a bit of a sophomore slump, and they kick things in as the season goes along. We will see. I like OSU’s defense. I think defense is what separates the men from the boys. And it hurts to say I like anything about OSU too 🤣 I like Georgia or Auburn in the 5 spot. I hesitate with LSU, again. Great win at Texas, but they did give up a LOT of points. I do think Texas is still an unknown as far as just how good they are. Georgia and Auburn post big wins early, and looked good doing so.

Here is what does not make sense about what Graham says. I am by no means a Pelosi fan. But if someone in law enforcement receives a tip, they investigate, correct? That seems to be what is happening now. After an investigation, if it turns out a crime was committed, law enforcement will go to the prosecutor to file charges, correct? , There was a tip about a whistle blower. There is now an investigation to see if there has been any criminal activity. Graham is an attorney and should know better. He wants the vote to take place before the investigation is complete. While there may be nothing to the story or investigation, one thing is certain, Trump is doing nothing to help himself. The best interview this weekend was from Chris Wallace on Fox News. The President has the full use of the Department of Justice at his disposal to investigate Joe Biden and his connections in the Ukraine. They have diplomatic protections that private attorneys would not have.....so why hire two private attorneys to investigate?

Oklahoma is my pick at an outside shot at being the best. As far as the SEC, I will hold off on giving anything to LSU. Bama and Georgia are the top two in my mind. The difference for me is defense. LSU gives up a LOT of points; no way they can just outrun the likes of Bama, Auburn and Georgia. Washington was impressive in beating SC. I think we are all in agreement when it comes to USC though. Going into this week, I was ok with Clemson on top. They will get everybody's best effort, and UNC gave them all they could handle. I was shocked to see that the Heels D could limit Clemson to just 3 scores. I also think this OSU team is the real deal; better than the teams they had the last couple years. Where they used to let the likes of IU and Nebraska hang around mainly because of sloppy play and mistakes; they are now blowing those teams out, like they should have in previous years. Funny thing is the last few years with the playoff and talk of expansion, it has been obvious there were just two teams really worthy of competing for a title. A year like this may be what is needed to have a real conversation about expanding. I still say 8 is enough though.

We tell our kids up front, no foul language in it, and no songs about explicit things. They know where to find the “cleaner” stuff. I think if the standard is clearly explained, most will figure it out.

The Eagles have run the ball all night at will. They have had a great mix of run and pass to keep the defense guessing. Eagles defense has played well most of the night. I am still puzzled at how the hit that took Williams out could not result in an ejection. It seems like that kind of late hit and targeting hit are tailor made for an ejection.

I get the feeling the offense is ironing out the kinks...Which really is a scary thought. As far as the Eagles....they are a mess. I am not sure the team thinks much of Wentz. 😳

One of very few real tests for the Irish in Athens, GA tonight, especially since Michigan replaces Florida State as the consistently most over rated team by a mile spot. While it was close, Georgia was more convincing. Way too many costly mistakes for ND. It seemed like a bad combination of plays not being called in and players being confused. That cost them a time out in each half. Imagine if they did not have to waste time outs like that. Huge difference in QB play as well. Fromm looked poised and comfortable most of the night. I thought it might be good that the Irish defense got some shots early on him. Book had one drive that looked good. He had the Georgia defense guessing wrong and they got down field in a hurry with a great mix of short passes and long passes. They never did get back to anything resembling that. Even on the last drive, there was time to run routes over the middle. It was wide open. The defense started out fantastic. I love the overall speed and the way they fly to the football. But they were on the field WAY too much that second half. While I am glad it was not a blowout, the score is not really indicative of how much better Georgia really is. The question does come up though; is this as far as Kelly can get them? I am not saying he should be gone per se, because who is out there to actually take this to another level? Is it really a matter of being a player or two short of the next level? I am no fan of moral victories....a loss is a loss. I disagree with Gary Danielson too. No matter what happens the remainder of the season, the Irish are on the outside looking in. Too many people complained last year, even after it was all settled and they proved they belonged in the playoff. Clemson won’t lose. The ACC is weaker than the B1G in my mind. There very well could be two SEC teams in, and Georgia will be one of them. Is Alabama the other? Even if they meet in the conference title game? LSU has a great offense, but their defense is nowhere near as good as Georgia’s imho. Ok....rant over. Time to finish tonight’s work on hudl 🙂☘️
