Not sure about UWM. At least it is at a neutral site this season. Last year at Lambeau would have been tough......for me personally especially. I NEVER imagined EVER rooting for a visiting team at Lambeau. 🙂 But Wiscy has been really unpredictable the last few years, and last year's results make me think there will only be a handful of games they will be favored. Funny quote from Bill Connelly on ESPN.com: "We'll see who ends up the media favorite soon enough. My guess is that, with most of last year's starters returning -- and with both Iowa and especially Northwestern losing quite a few key contributors -- Wisconsin will again get the nod. Did you see my earlier post? Look up Melissa Stockwell. SHE is an amazing person. One of my favorite things about the Olympics is seeing stories like these that we normally do not hear about.

I heard they had a good shot at earning medals. Great to see them aim for their goals and reach their targets. These medals are the shot in the arm the program needed. I would say a field that had the top ten golfers in it ranked 26th or higher in the world is a strong field. Not like a regular tour tournament, sure, but that does not mean it was not solid/strong.

I am not the one making the claim that people are acting like victims. Standing up for some belief that others are being treated poorly does not equate to those voices being victims themselves. You have never spoken up or taken a stand for someone that cannot do so themselves?

Not buying it. Name the athletes that you think hate this country. Equating hate with wanting things to be better for others than they currently are are two COMPLETELY different things. Even if you do put together a list, of what 5? MAYBE 10 athletes? Out of how many that are competing for the US? Or do you just assume they ALL hate this country, or that there are actually very few that do like this country?

he made a great post. just an fyi…..if you scroll over the heart, the word “like” pops up…….did not realize that reactions were so critical though. To think that someone is going to dedicate something between 8-12 years working their asses off with the goal of representing their country….because they hate it? yeah, makes perfect sense.
