  1. Cannot blame the guy for not wanting to be an RB. he did get nicked up in the Green Bay game carrying the ball. Not saying it cannot happen as a WR. But the careers of RB's are relatively short compared to WR's
  2. Wait; your weed budget comes from Ballard ? 🤣
  3. The teams at the bottom have owners that have shown they are not investing in their teams at all. The entire A's roster is at $33 Million for a year. There are a number of players making more than that this season. Fans do not react well to poor management by the front office. Interesting that Atlanta is where it is. It's one of those cities that a lot of people move to for a job. Even back in the 90's on their deep playoff runs, the stadium did not seem like a sell out. I think some places are low because the weather has just sucked in a lot of places. It has been cold with a lot of rain and snow around the Great Lakes; and only Milwaukee can close their roof. Interesting to see the Dodgers in first. They are famous for late arriving crowds and low early season attendance.
  4. Madison is looking to fill the position of Defensive Coordinator as well as an offensive and defensive position coach. All applicants welcome, but would prefer some experience for the Coordinator position. There are several teaching positions available throughout the school district as well as new ones be posted in the very near future. Link to open teaching positions is available below. Please contact Coach LeRoy Wilson, lwilson@madison.k12.in.us, if interested. https://skyward.madison.k12.in.us/scripts/wsisa.dll/WService=wsSky/rappljoblst484.w

  6. Interesting comments recently, but as stated in the first post, please stick to just coaching moves here. Feel free to start a topic to have a conversation about a particular move, or a program. Thanks
  7. Jared Sauder steps down at Leo https://outsidethehuddle.net/2022/04/19/leo-football-coach-jared-sauder-steps-down/
  8. Woodlan Has an open position for a Junior High Social Studies position. There is also a football coaching position with this at the level commiserate with the ability of the coach. Coaching resume's email to mismith@eacs.k12.in.us Teaching info sent to the attached info. jobs@eacs.k12.in.us
  9. Add to this…it just came to mind, and it may be the only time this has happened, but the same person won the Mental Attitude Award in both. Mike Dury was the QB for Chatard and a Forward on the BBall team. The bball team beat Elmhurst out of Fort Wayne with James Hardy leading that team. Their head coach was an assistant principal I worked with for a few years at New Haven.
  10. This is great...what a fantastic attitude. https://boston.cbslocal.com/video/6227308-double-amputee-marko-cheseto-continues-to-inspire-wins-para-athletics-division-of-boston-marathon/?fbclid=IwAR0ZvHIg6HFrj482LWbtdkMPekBc6939aoU245E0LzwAqJDRFyJTyR8a1Ss
  11. One of the worst pains in sports is hitting a baseball in cold weather.
  12. This is a cool picture from today.....Kiermaier brothers at Wrigley......from Fort Wayne, IN. Kevin of course, plays for the Rays, and Daniel is the Head Groundskeeper at Wrigley.
  13. The best part of that whole thing is the kid did NOT pick LSU. 🤣
  14. Boonville High School, in southwestern Indiana, has a PE position open for the 2022-2023 school year. Posting closes on 4/28. Looking for an assistant football coach, possible OC, for the PE position. If interested, contact Coach Ward at dward@warrick.k12.in.us
  15. Right....and what the high school program cannot do, the club team will pick up and continue. Nothing will really change. But the situation in the OP sounds like a conversation with all stakeholders and the AD needs to take place to strike a balance.
  16. This is a great signing for Green Bay. I also like that Sammy was willing to sign for this. https://www.nfl.com/news/sammy-watkins-agrees-to-one-year-4m-contract-with-packers
  17. Alum David Bell talks to current WC players before their workout. I have stated before I am a huge fan of this young man. I do think he has "it"; and giving back to the game at this stage in his young career is just really cool.
  18. Gotta go to Fort Myers Beach for this one at Hoosiers in Paradise. A retired IFD Fire Fighter bought the place (the top floor with the railing) several years ago........by far my favorite tenderloin place. Granted, I have not been to the Tin Plate. I will definitely try though.
  19. Concord HS still has a PE job opening for next year. Just hired a former football/wrestling coach as our principal. Superintendent is an athletics guy as well. Good time to get into our district and football program. Please contact HC Craig Koehler if interested. ckoehler@concord.k12.in.us
  20. Seymour High School (5A) is looking to hire a QB coach (Pass game Coordinator) as well as, K/P, LB's or DB's. We will have an opening in our alternative education program that assists students with credit recovery and supervision. We also have numerous jobs open throughout our corporation. All interested applicants should email Head Coach Tyson Moore (mooret@scsc.k12.in.us).
  21. 73 was the first year for the classes/playoff. I think Scecina had a similar enrollment number back then.
