    Where are they all going, further out towards Leo, Carroll, Kendallville?? Or are the private schools taking a chunk out of the public schools?

    Yep, as the 2 main conferences and the 3rd (big 12) start taking over, ND could easliy be on the outside looking in. Sure the ND brand will still carry some weight, going undefeated or having 1 lose in season should be OK to get into the CFB playoffs, 2 loses as we saw this year puts them on the outside. It will be more difficult for ND to schedule high caliber teams as they want a few practice games prior to league play

    Please point out where I said it was OK for ISU and KSU to be opting out, I was just stating fact. I'm actually OK with ND opting out. I fully support your second point, AL loses and they jump ND, that's a hard one to explain. Most of the MSM is focusing on why the U is in and ND is out, where it should be why is Bama in and ND is out. I feel I know why, but will not pontificate on that one because someone may tell me to shut up 😀

    I'm guessing the younger ones supported as well, but we will probably never know the full story

    Well Ole Miss is the CFP, not the lower level scrub bowls. I doubt Ole Miss would back out of playing in that.

    I agree with ND puling out, good for them. I'm sure if they did go to any bowl outside the CFP, most key players would opt out, esp Love and Price, the future is next year in NFL

    I know they drop down to 5A next year. Rough year this past year. I've been locked out of forum since September, finally got back in today.
