I wonder how the Sagarin strength of schedule is figured out. Looking at 2A teams Linton-Stockton (Rank 21) and Luers (Rank 22) doesn't add up. Luers has played and beat two 6A teams and one 4A team, while Linton-Stockton has played and beaten two 3A's and one 2A. Seems a bit out of whack IMO.

I wouldn't hand my hat on them just yet. Yes, they beat a very good 2A team and good 4A team. Beating Crown Point is expected, can't recall CR really ever being all good, seems to be a 500 team past 5 years or so.

I'm really glad he picked Ball State, think the playing opportunities would be best there, vs. a P5 school

Have to be the 2A favorite at this point easily.

Big question will be can Snider adjust their D so they are better defending the pass? They have a few weeks until they play Homestead, I'm not discounting Concordia next week, the Cadets can beat Snider the way Snider is playing IMO.

I wouldn't write them off yet. I think it will be better than last year. Season is early, adjustments hopefully can be made. IMO, regular season is a tune up for when it counts in sectionals and regionals and onward. I don't get their D sets on the corners, they are not in good position. Even an average spectator like me can see that.

Snider has issues on D, especially in the secondary. No reason to be playing 10-12 yards off your man in the red zone. I'm no football coach, but that don't seem right.
