  1. Or. you could do a all Indy metro class. the list is 75% of metro Indy area schools, think I counted 18. You can take the remaining 14 from 6A and the 32 from 5A and do tw0, 5A & 6A classes with 24 teams?? The 4 schools that have won 90% of the titles the past 20 years will continue doing that IMO, so reducing the 6A to 24 doesn't provide any balance.
  2. Alright, I'll be waiting for the August 20th kickoff !! Could be hard for the SAC, I hear they are really trending down the last few years.
  3. How does reducing the highest class to 24 bring balance?? Don't think there will ever be balance in 6A even with 24 teams. Center Grove, Carmel, Warren Central & Ben Davis have won 18 of the last 20 high class championships. If you want to bring balance have a 7A class with those 4 and then 6A would have a lot of balance with the 28 teams
  4. Is Penn and Elkhart considered part of "da Region"?? Where does Terre Haute and New Albany/Jeffersonville areas fall??
  5. But this year, Carmel was in south while Zionsville was north in 5A. Geographically, Carmel is further north than Zionsville, so I could see them going back to north section.
  6. ^^ this, again??? You are taking up valuable bandwidth.
  7. Great win by Luers. I will always say Luers is a threat in 2A regardless of regular season record. Playing mostly 4A, 5A & 6A teams in regular season will get you prepared to play top 2A teams that feast on 1A, 2A & 3A teams in regular season. Yes, I know Pioneer beat a 6A and 4A this year.
  8. I think Valpo played the sectional final on the road. So maybe the rule could be amended for semi-state game that if team X has not played a game away from home and team Y has played a sectional or regional final on the road , then team Y will be home team.
  9. Yeah, I know that Zionsville doesn't determine that. Maybe there needs to be some form of "zionsville" rule in future???
  10. Pretty nice to be able to play all your postseason games on your home field.
  11. That may end up being difference in the game ?? Sounds like an instant classic !!
  12. Got ya, but the way you stated it "Wasn't there a "numbering exception" lends that as a question. Maybe next time say "there was a numbering exception" No big deal on my end, surprised Dwenger faithful haven't belabored this though.
  13. Dude, all I'm saying is I didn't watch the game so I can't tell you if it did or did not happen. I'm just making point that I'm surprised no Dwenger folks have mentioned if it did happen. But then again, maybe it did happen but no one knew that is a rule. I didn't.
  14. If that was the case, I'm surprised any of the astute Saints' posters' have yet to bring up.
  15. I will add, the only team in the SAC that has been respectable against the Indy Mega Schools are the Mighty Panthers of Snider. Not so much in past 5-7 years or so, but looking overall. Things change and I understand that, but Snider should be back in 6A after the next two years.
  16. Never mind, got my answer. I would be really upset if I was Dwenger.
