  1. Not sure if they would like those 70 - 90 minute, one way road trips few times a season, time and expense. But I do think they would be a great fit in that conference

    Ball State

I think Ball State is deserving of a top 25 ranking. That was a bad beat down of a ranked team, so they should be recognized.
  3. Heard it was Jax and Det that reached out to him, Jax seems to be of interest to him. I would rather live there then Detroit, as I'm sure most would agree to that.
  4. NHHS has tried for years with no luck. 2016 they had a good team if I recall correctly. Maybe one year they can put it together and get to a semi-state again, who knows maybe even get to LOS? I would think best chance would be while Saints are playing in 5A, they will probably be there for awhile. Jim Rowland had them going in great direction, too bad he stepped down.
  5. Challenge for Snider would be to find some opponent that would present challenge. Not many close other than Penn, maybe Warsaw or Elkhart. Other than that, they would need to play Indy area schools or head to Da Region. I guess they could also look to Ohio; Lima or Toledo area?
  6. I'm saying; Snider Carroll Dwenger Luers Homestead Concordia South Side Wayne North Side Northrop
  7. Do you think this works the other way against the larger schools, have to play a few games/close to half, against 3A/4A and the (1) 2A??
  8. Snider 2015 5A title. So instead of Nada, maybe very little??
  9. I've watched Powlus a few times at Penn. Not bashing him, just think is an average QB from what I saw. Maybe he continues to get better in his early years at ND and can get into position to be starting a few years down the road, red shirt maybe? I hope he does well, always like to see the kids from the greater tri-plex area go to ND and play. Could be a legacy offer, but great for him if he got a full ride for the education, can't argue against that!!
  10. The big QB get for ND is Tyler Buchner, has good chance of being high on depth chart freshman year.
  11. Remember, he only has a high school education.
  12. I found that strange that no parents came to kids defense as well, and also the referees standing there as well.
  13. I was think Dwenger loses quite a bit from last years team?? Snider should be OK with Haupert at QB as long as he does his work this spring and summer needs to work on some passing. Think they have really good back coming back in Brown. Of course Carroll has Becker coming back, will probably be dominate QB in SAC in 2021, will be glad when he leaves. Not sure what Homestead returns, think they may have some spots to fill.
  14. I think good move overall. I live in the greater South Bend/Mishawaka/Elkhart Metro Tri-Plex area for past 25 years and have seen the NIC decline over the years, mostly SB schools. I see the better fit for size of Mishawaka in the NLC, JMO. Agree with NLC Tiger, this year you can't judge, need to give it 2-3 more years.
  15. Snider has made some positive progress in the B ball area lately, plus still think they are the "football destination" in the greater metroplex of Fort Wayne
  16. I can only think of two, Concordia and Indianapolis Lutheran. I don't think Trinity has a football team??
  17. crimsonace1 200 Post Club Referee 255 posts New Palestine 4,5 Posted November 27 Here's what I was able to pull. Note: These are unofficial and reflect 4-grade enrollment. With regards to Hammond, I merged Clark & Hammond's enrollments, as well as Gavit & Morton's, as is the consolidation plan. The Evansville schools, for example, tend to get a bit of an enrollment bump. I have no idea what Park Tudor's enrollment is, but they're solidly 1A. Danville's result tomorrow will determine whether it is 3A or 4A for the next two years. By this math, that will likely affect Delta (which goes down to 3A if Danville wins). UPDATE: I have made edits to reflect LCC being in 2A and Madison (not Madison-Grant) in 3A. IHSAA enrollment - Copy of Sheet1 (3).pdf76.38 kB · 162 downloads
  18. That is different thread. We are not cutting the 6A class to 24 on this thread.
  19. I'm sure DT will have some sort of spin on it, so I will wait But, will they "stay up" due to the 2 point rule?? Kind of what Snider did for past two year cycle?
  20. I believe your data is for current cycle that is now ending, imirite?? https://gridirondigest.net/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=4070
