I was awaiting the "Luers did nothing in 3a" comments. Luers was pretty darn good a few of those years and played some pretty darn good teams along the way.

Your point on Tech is right on. I think the bigger the school system, the harder it is to do anything right.

I enjoy this type of humor, find this quite funny, and stand by the thought that no matter what person is elected, the country will elect again in four years.

I sat behind the Brownsburg head coach during one of the games at Lucas Oil. The guy was the epitome of class to all around. F Animosity (not really): When I was at Paul Harding, it was Luers (wait a minute!) and New Haven or Heritage. When I was younger it was Dwenger, but now maybe Homestead. Anyone with Dwenger's coaching staff should win state a lot. At Woodlan, Leo. Now, I have to get my bearings on this new part of the state.

How far back would you like it to go? Do any games resemble their glorious pasts?

What's his guaranteed contract? Heck, what about those guys on the Bengals? Fort Wayne has a slew in many places now. A couple of Fort Wayne families have a near monopoly on paint/air pistol/guns. Tippman Field. Tiberius Park. I'd chip in a share for Luers and Zollner.

I'd bet the highest paid pro athlete out of Luers right now is Purple Nurple's progeny. It'd be nice to have a fundraiser, I'll give a portion. 🙂

He and his brother were certainly fun to watch. Luers has been blessed with some good ones.

There are plenty of NFL/MLB/MLS riches from the SAC, but that money is fleeting. Why don’t HWI, Steel Dynamics, Vera Bradley, Lincoln Financial or other insurance company in town, paintball gun wizards, or Sweetwater step up? Lots of big companies in Fort Wayne.

Will they go off of the geography of Snider High School or Spuller Stadium? FW North Side and Snider may swap in this scenario. The North is a bit of a mess.

Someone played it all out a few months back and Luers was the lower end of 3A. We shall see.
