  1. Except MTV. O/U on transfers from MTV to Reitz 2.5
  2. Top to bottom the SIAC is more physical, more athletic, and more talented than any conference in SW Indiana. Not close.
  3. Not sure on announcement but Bosse is getting a good one.
  4. Not sure....tell us. I’m hearing the GS job is best around and the entire state knows GS and it’s players. I find that comical.
  5. I think losing two kids that played all the way through Reitz feeder program really hurt the last 2 - 3 seasons. And it really benefited Central.
  6. Any chance a former Panther that did a good job at Harrison and now Mt Vernon would have a shot? I can’t see Hart leaving GS with QB in place for a deep run. Crazy that 3 HC jobs are available. Not sure Harrison and Bosse will have a lot of applicants. I could be wrong. I can see Reitz attracting a large number of candidates.
  7. 4A sectional and regionals more difficult. Semi-state a wash, 3A state more difficult. All based on the last few seasons with realignment and success factor.
  8. Curious as to why GS HC job would be in the same sentence as Reitz? HH has been to state a couple times and Memorial has 3 years in a row and 5 of last 12. .neither of them would be close to as good as Reitz HC job. JMO.
  9. 2020 looks like great opportunity. Obviously getting out of 32 and L-burg will be extremely challenging.
  10. Yep...my last 3 vacations have been to Indy. Not much of a vacation but at least my entire family was able to met us there all 3 times. BTW I like the new PAC
  11. You need to leave Coal Mine Road.... occasionally! It’s not all bad out here. 3 things we always do in the Ville....Keep windows up, doors locked , and revolver ready. If you get assaulted I know a really good lawyer. Almost forgot...always travel in pairs.
  12. kicked off basketball team because of behavior and moved from QB to DL/DB because of poor leadership/attitude. I’m guessing this has zero to do with living in a better area. This one will be up to IHSAA. Central is recommending zero participation for 365.
  13. Actually started QB then moved to DB after week 2. Also plays WR. Talented QB that struggled with leadership skills from QB position. If HH can get this kid on same page he is a difference maker. Arguably the best athlete at Central and one of the top 2-sport athletes in SIAC.
  14. If HH can get the kid to buy-in to TEAM you’ve h gotten a difference maker in two sports. I’m not aware of why he was kicked-off other than after about 4 games he was dismissed by coach walker.
  15. Central can only recommend. State has final say on all athletic transfers.
  16. When is Central’s decline starting? They will be top 3 again in 2020. With the sophomore kid at QB and the athletes they get Central is going to be a top tier team over the next 3 seasons.
  17. Banks wants to play QB. Wasn’t going to happen at Central. That job is secured for the next 3 seasons. HH is getting a tremendous athlete. Interesting he was kicked off basketball team. Obviously an athletic transfer. Can’t wait to see how the state rules on his eligibility.
  18. Referring strictly to football and I’m sure it various from school to school. PWO’s miss out on perks and pay a lot of money to be scout team and part of a program. Certainly are exceptions to that. Would not surprise me if he earns a scholarship before he is finished at IU.
  19. Kid must love football and the process. The grind at college level can mentally and physically break a kid. Could not imagine paying to do it. PWO miss out on a lot of perks that scholarship athletes get. With that being said, it would not surprise me if this kid eventually earns a scholarship.
  20. Sounds like he was asked to resign. I agree! Did it the right way and his teams played hard. They gave EM all they wanted this year.
  21. Central, Harrison and Bosse are tough to coach at unless you are willing to turn a blind eye to off the field and even some in the building behaviors. I do give the current Central coach and last years coach credit for trying to change the behavior and hold kids accountable. Oxley and Schnur did that from day 1. It’s probably cost both of them their varsity HC jobs but at least they didn’t allow kids to dictate behavior. Hope both of these guys find other opportunities in coaching.
