    Same for EM...picked the wrong years. Unfortunately, they are now stuck in 4A through next cycle. Kids that had very little to do with the recent run by the Tigers are getting punished the next several years. I’m guessing enrollment for EM will be just over 500 students with only a couple hundred boys.

    DC has been outstanding since taking over as coordinator 3 years ago. There’s a reason EM has been consistently good on D and very well prepared each week.

    Looked like EM started in cover 0 early then switched to cover 2 most the night vs Mooresville. Not sure EM can play cover 0 vs Fortville. They look athletic.

    Not sure what game you watched. Very few stunts and the two DE’s lived in the backfield. 8 TFL 4 sacks. Combs and Johnson dominated all night. EM sent 4 most the night because that’s all they was needed.

    How is the OL for Fortville? Mooresville’s was possibly the best EM has faced all year and EM pushed them around with no trouble. EM strength has been stopping the run and forcing teams to throw. Very little success for any team throwing with Combs and Johnson coming off the edges.

    Expecting a great battle on Friday. Weather looks cold and wet. Sounds like it could be a defensive struggle.

    I’m always shocked about how much the IHSAA are closet Catholic school fans.

    EM will count on another big game from their defense. I figured it would be tough sledding for EM offense vs Mooresville’s stout D. Offense did enough to help EM advance. Always fun playing in November when teams don’t know much about their opponents other than video or stats. What can EM expect from Mt V Fort? I know they have a HOF’er for a coach.

    Based on Hurley’s career, I’m not sure EM ever looks an opponent. EM is well aware of what it will take Friday night.

    EM opens as the favorite. Not sure that’s accurate considering the bump in class. It’s going to take another big game from the defense. Really surprised how EM dominated Mooresville’s OL. It wasn’t just the Combs kid. Most of EM DL won their matchups all night, especially #69.

    Tri Central is playing really good football. Wonder if MD regrets leaving at 5:30 A.M? I think I would have went up Friday.

    Most in SW Indiana notice, as much as they won’t admit it.......even those on Coal Mine Road!! The last 4 plus years have been a helluva run in several sports at EM.

    I see HH and MD getting there. It would be nice to join but it’s going to take another performance like last Friday for EM. That could turn into one helluva tailgate.

    Not sure. I only know EM is playing in 4th straight regional game and still alive for 3 straight trips to LOS. I think your Pats will be there this year. IB if my team got their a$$ busted 4 straight years on their home field I’d find something better to do than troll GID 4A.

    Back to what’s important. EM playing for another regional title. I’m sure some to the north are pulling for the Tigers and a permanent home in 4A.

    Castle has played for 2 regionals and a semi state title over last 5 years. Went to Bloomington North and won before losing to BS in sectional championship. I’d say they are doing ok. Just can’t seem to get over the 4-3 hump most years in SIAC. Pot meet kettle

    Castle is always 4-3 or 5-2. It’s puzzling imo. Should roll siac most years. Kinda gives you an idea how good SIAC was this year.

    Slap in face to teams at the top or that won the SIAC. Conference was better than last year and more competitive than I can recall in recent years. I’m not sure any outside of siac realize how good North was this year and how difficult even a bad Reitz team is to beat.
