That shadow would still dominate pac teams. What a stupid comment hh04. Be glad we aren’t in 32 or the pac teams would be watching EM vs Lburg tonight. How can a fan talk about a conference when they play in a conference where sos hovers around the 200’s and above. Castle finished where they normally do and Reitz had a down year. North was better and MD, EC and EM are really good teams.

Hoping for a big upset tomorrow night at Enlow.

Absolutely crazy if that’s the case. Some of the players that attributed to EM success factor bump will be close to finishing up their college football careers before EM is reclassified.

I see a couple beast on both teams. Should be a fun Friday night with a packed house. #6 is a special player and has been for 3 years. His brother, Branson, was a beast for 4 years. Now a redshirt freshman at Southern Illinois.

#6 hasn’t played offense except in short yardage and FB sets. Numbers won’t look good. Friday was 1st time he was used as feature RB on offense. He’s a physical DE that wasn’t going to get significant touches until tournament time. Rarely stepped on field on offense in his career. EM will have to be firing on all cylinders. This team is fully aware of that and understands how to win in November. Still may not be enough to overcome the enormous size and strength of Mooresville. Never mind how athletic Mooresville appears to be.

Daunting task having Memorial with 275 male students compete in 4A football. I know this group of seniors are battled tested. Hopefully playing in 15 post season games over 3 years will help.

Well aware of Indy time....just pointing out when game is being played. Never questioned their schedule or the talent they play. I think EM is huge underdog. Mooresville will have the 3 best players on the field.

Mater Dei is arguably the most physical team in SIAC. Very good RB and athletic WRs. Never mind how well coached they are.

Lots of good players on the field this time of year. Mooresville looks damn near unbeatable. Especially by a school with an enrollment of 600 that’s built for 3A football. I am guessing that’s why Mooresville picked Friday at 6:30. Get down to Evansville, take care of EM, and rest up for SS.

Public schools have big advantage with open enrollment before entering high school. Harder to recruit a kid to a school that cost 1000’s to attend. Thank goodness the vouchers have helped offset cost for families that qualify.

Looks like on paper and on video the Tigers have got their hands full. This looks like the best team they’ve played in 3 years. Maybe only WL last year looks comparable. Need a good week of practice and an A+ effort Friday night.

Could you imagine if EM had the weight room facilities that 99% of SW Indiana schools have? The staff just flat gets it done. Amazing what accountability and commitment can do for a program.

Surely we won’t have to play 5A now? I’m missing some crickets that said the Tigers run will be over in 2018 and there’s no way they can compete in 4A. 7 titles in 12 years under coach JH. Can we say his staff is officially the KINGS of SW Indiana football coaches?

I will quickly comment and leave. It was pointed out to me that EM is 4A and I need to stay out of 3A discussions. Good luck to the young men who have put in the work. Anytime you’re playing week 12 it’s a special season.

Regardless of how you feel about any team not named Reitz or Gibson Southern these two have earned a chance to win a sectional championship. Hope it’s a great game and good luck to both. so for the record...it’s your opinion that Memorial, Princeton, and VL are all lucky their not in 32?

Over/under on 15 yard penalties? EM owns a few over the years but has cleaned it up compared to last season. EC continues to rack them up. Hopefully a good clean game......for one of the teams. #FTF

We were supposed to be heading home last year as well. I think EM has answers the bell every time vs Chatard. Repect Chatard and you guys are the gold standard for 3A football but we would be playing Friday if in 32. Just as we are in 24. Last years game would have been a running clock for semistate.

14 and 20 points vs HH 22 points vs SR 35 points vs Southport in a loss. 1 good offensive showing vs a quality opponent.

Wonder where Reitzguy played but now coaches? great game by two tough teams. Give credit to GS for correcting mistakes from game 1 and give tons of credit to HH for finding a way. Friday should be another great battle.

Memorial can’t give up 8 sacks and turn the ball over 6 times again.

Good win Friday for Castle. Hard to figure how a school the size of Castle hasn’t won more than 4 siac games in a season since 2014. I see Castle winning this game by 2 TDs.
