If you were interested in the Kentucky version of this thread, here it is. They start their playoffs this week. They basically have an all-in that is seeded. A handful of teams don't make it but they are 0-10 type teams for the most part and it's just in districts that are designed around enrollment and location. Also, Marshall County to Simon Kenton High School is 300 miles and likely 5 hours by bus for a first round playoff game. I am with the OP here on seeding, but this thread shows you what happens when everyone makes it with an all-in format with seeding.

I tried that at the end of last season and it didn't work out. If I was going to pick an upset this week, it would be JC over FC but I don't necessarily think it will happen. You're not wrong. The current location of the school is a complete train wreck right on a narrow HWY 31. The fact that all those new developments are going in along 403, which runs right into 31 in front of the school, makes it 10 times worse. They should've found a new spot to put the school. That or convince the county and town to completely redesign 31/403. Don't get me wrong, their new facilities will be top notch, but it won't be built to withstand the amount of potential students they could have.

Coach Hess said most of it pretty well, but get over yourself, man. It's high school sports. Not college or pro. Stop making it like it's a big deal. To most people who don't play, coach or aren't parents, it's really not. You have no reason to be "mad." They're high school kids. They have a lot more on their mind that football. Leave them alone and the guys who are trying to help mold them. Stop coming on here after every loss and complaining. It is what it is.

Yes. MV beat them last year 35-13. MV does have to travel to Jeff this year, so that could impact it some since it is a haul. But Jeff has struggled so I think it's certainly possible.
