Four yards and a cloud of dust.  Best football is best.

This ain’t 1986-88 with Vaughn Dunbar and Anthony Thompson. The forward pass has revolutionized the game of football. You two , DT and you need to get in the right century. They even have two divisions in the B10 now.

    Against Ohio State

    Passing Yards  495   97%

    Rushing Yards    16    3%

Can we get just a little balance maybe?

Maybe then we can keep the other team and their Heisman QB off the field and give our 2.5  star defenders a rest.

I can tell you two arm chair QB’s that if Indiana went with your philosophy they still would of had 7 points, at the end of the game.
Also when the game was 21-7, and Indiana coughed the ball up on the 5, with first down in hand, from a pass no less, this was the game changer. State proceeded to score on the next possession. 28-7. 14 point turnaround.

Thats ridiculous.  The MAC is loaded with good offensive linemen.  The O LIne is the one place on the field where you can get by with lesser recruits.  2 and 3 star boys grow into 3 and 4 star men in college.  If everyone had to recruit at the level of AL/CL/OSU, nobody would have a running game.

We have a 4 star back in Sampson James and a proven runner in Scott who are underutilized assets.

Our linemen are light years ahead of where they were 5 years ago.

We need to set a goal to rush for at least 150 yards per game from here on out

Sooooo.....if I’m reading you right ,that what I said is ridiculous. We don’t have 2and 3 star linemen? Or we do ,and the coaches are horrific at coaching them. It is one or the other. And I’m pretty sure we don’t have 4&5 star linemen.
4star back, ok. If we had a 5 star back then we would solve the problem?
Seems to me every time either Scott or our 4star got the ball they didn’t get very far. According to you ,this has nothing to do with the O line. We need 5 star backs. Problem solved.
From what I’ve seen ,the coaches are utilizing what they have on this squad, and making the best of it. If that means passing 75 percent of the time, and it is successful, do it. Pass protection has been a strong point.

    Set a goal? Lol.
Again these damn coaches, I can’t believe them farts, not setting goals.  Allen, you should of thought about this last year also! That will definitely solve the running problem. I guess it’s really not that hard.

Any other quick fixes DT? Before I forward this to the assistant coach that I know?
Im thinking pay cuts for them all , how above you?,terrible ,terrible job.

Since they're right around the corner from Ben Davis, I'll be cheering for the Warriors.

Since I have kissin cousins in Adams county, farmers that is, and who doesn’t like Bern Indiana! Which is the southern part of the Indiana “TUNDRA” area. I’m going to root for the northern team.

16 yards rushing offense for Indiana.  When are we going to get the running game going?

When they obtain O linemen with the credentials that Ohio, alabama, clemsen have 4 & 5 star.Or play teams that have D linemen with similar credentials as IU’s O linemen 2 and 3 stars. That’s when it , the running game, gets better.
In the meantime Indiana’s OC is setting up an offense to utilize the personal that is on the roster.

On a side note, is Scott dinged? Suspicious he didn’t get in there more.
Anyway, fabulous work by the coaches this season.

What’s so irrational about SAC is getting weaker and weaker every year ?

You might want to go back and reread what I said. It was in reference to the New Haven football team and not the people from New Haven.

    I just went back, prospect.
“Every New Haven FAN I have met including you thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread “

So....you never met me, but included me. Does this go for DE then he’s a fan. What about Irishman, I know he’s a fan. Or is it just for me?

Frankfort has a very sizeable Hispanic population living within the city limits.  Many of those families have been here for decades, some say their previous generations came to the area from Mexico for seasonal agricultural work and just decided to stay.   Then around 2000 a lot them had relatives in Mexico migrate (legally or illegally) to Frankfort in order to find work.   It was an open secret than many of the small factories and warehouses in Frankfort and surrounding communities (Lafayette, Delphi, Lebanon, Kokomo, Logansport) would hire these workers with little or no documentation and/or fake/copied SS numbers.  That seems to have died down over the last 10-15 years, but I'm sure it still goes on.    That is why if you look at the latest IDOE data for FHS it shows the student population being 55% Hispanic.  The school corporation as a whole stands at 52.2% student being Hispanic.

In contrast all the other government schools in Clinton County (Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, and Rossville) have White student populations over 90%.

Ok, so the location Frankfort, became a hub for the Mexican population know for hiring Hispanics. Word got out I guess for the new arrivals.
    Thanks for the backround.

No.  My father moved away from Ft. Wayne after HS for work.  My parents (mother is from NWI) settled in Schererville where my sister and I were raised.

My dad passed away in February 2012.

New Haven will always have a fan with me.

***IMSC, my dad's mom and dad had a house on Paulding Road.

Ha, yes Paulding Rd. That’s where my parents house was, about 2 blocks north of Paulding, and intersects with Hessen Castle. next to St. Henry school.
We all lived in Fort Wayne, and they Bussed us 7 miles or so to New Haven high school.” We’re all better than sliced bread” or think we are, as one poster has INSISTED.

Weird year to say the least. Biggest thing is that the OHSAA finals are the weekend before the IHSAA instead of the weekend after. For the Ohio representatives in the area:

    D4-Van Wert Cougars

    D6-Coldwater Cavaliers

    D7- New Bremen Cardinals

As for the Indiana teams in semi state:

    4A-Marion

    2A-Bishop Luers

    1A-South Adams Starfires

Hoping we get 3x State Champs and 3x Going to State finals! If we don't, it was still a great season for all these teams and many others getting through COVID the best they could!

Indiana games, I think Marion has a shot , to advance against Hobart. The region ain’t what it used to be.  The star fires are in the driver’s seat in this one. I don’t think the knights will advance against Pioneer.
I don’t know much about the Ohio teams.
