  1. Come on here? Indiana and Purdue ain’t ever in a hundred million years Going to get in the big three circle with these Indiana elite “marginal D1” athletes. I know what your getting at ,but it takes years and years of landing 4and 5 star athletes. Starting with indiana high school kids.
  2. I have never once, in this thread abashed or chided students, or their decisions to select the college they wanted to attend. You all jumped on that stage coach. And it left town.
  3. Pretty selfish, for the health of indiana smaller colleges. me ,me ,me-era is here.
  4. The schools could not exist if not for bringing athletes in the door.
  5. Not a good look for Indiana, at near the bottom of the BIG class rating. also. Mark Hagan all ready to coach at Texas. Unless Fred ante's up to keep him.
  6. I understand this, grants. The schools would not be able to keep their doors open If they didn’t reserve over half of their grants in aid for athletes.
  7. As a matter of fact, DIII schools in Indiana would not be able to keep their doors open if not for athletes deciding to enroll to further their sport careers. The sole reason they reserve over half academic scolis for athletes.
  8. Most if not all D3 schools set aside ,half of their scoli money ,or more, for athletics, so your statement is a little misleading.
  9. Add all state linebacker Caleb McCoy , to the list.
  10. Then Tom needs to put the money out there, and Don't dangle a carrot in front of these young men's noses. When they could very well be playing or starting, with scoli money at another institution in Indiana. This will weaken the the smaller schools rosters. Not fair for Tom to glut the "Indiana's best" marginal players.
  11. Allen has a distinct advantage with “Indiana’s best” marginal high school players , to the disadvantage of the smaller schools. It’s a Lot easier for these kids to accept a walk on to IU ,than try to get the help needed from parents and coaches to amassing film , statistics ,data necessary to cull a scoli from these other schools. Some don’t have the help or no one will give them the help.
  12. I would venture to guess 1/3 or more of these walk ons would be getting everything paid for at other schools. Getting the best talent in the state has nothing to do with depleting the available talent for other non-major school in the state.
  13. This for Cronk also. As His old coach had him in the fold. And Allen block the move.
  14. Won’t be Michigan State. That was blocked.
  15. Preferred walk on roster for Indiana University is bulging at the seams with Indiana kids. Depleting the available instate athletes for smaller state colleges and universities. including ,but not Limited to.other In state D1schools. Most of these kids will never see the light of day in their career at IU. whether Allen thinks he’s being generous or what. This is not a good thing.
  16. Yes , he probably would have been the third string QB. Good for the transfer portal.
  17. Ok,Asking You a specific question looks rude? Is that what you mean? I’m not as qualified as you to discern. Just requesting info.
