  1. Ok, then that settles it. Ohio state is in the second tier nationally. I couldn’t be happier.
  2. CG scored on both bad decisions by Cathedral to go for 1st downs. Field goal in the first half, touchdown at the end of the game.
  3. Definitely a bad call by cathedrals coach , to go for it on the fourth down, cost him a touchdown. He also chose to go for it in the first half of the game, and didn’t make it, that blunder cost them a field goal. Poor decision making for the Irish coaches in both situations. You people are in denial. But these are good coaches. Just made a few bad game decisions that cost the points. They will live to see another day, and probably win another state trophy.
  4. Mature athlete? Certainly. Add 5 star rating to that maturity, nada.
  5. Not if it means you’re going to get the business end of a 2x4 every Saturday.
  6. Indiana has always been short sighted with respect to sports image. The administrators have this idea that everyone wants to attend our school. Before Jerry Yagley showed up, nobody heard of Soccer at indiana, before Sam Bell showed up nobody heard of track at Indiana, before Doc Councilman showed up, nobody heated of swimming at Indiana. Before Bob Knight showed up Indiana was called a basketball state but he took the university program to a unprecedented level. The athletes need an incentive to attend a school.
  7. Ha you know, I have looked at this for a long time, the Big 10 divisions, and at this point I don’t think any change would be drastic enough to help Indiana. It starts with money, pony up for coaches who can attract talent, win a few important games, then the school gets on the radar of the high schools. Period. Coaches, that are willing to accept the challenge, and they have to be compensated big time. You have in the past pointed out Kentucky program. If I’m a wildcat alum, I’m pretty excited about football. I don’t think realignment has had any thing to do with the granule success that they have had. I could go on and on here.
  8. Iu is still fighting its image. Rightfully so. Until they produce on the field, 5 and 4 stars are not going to give them a whiff. The bowl game last year ,the coaches lost ,would have been a real turning point in the Allen era, if they had won.
  9. You have some good points here to consider. And while you can’t back up with unavailable statistics, others can’t prove otherwise. Or maybe they have the proof.

“Just the FACTS” ladies and gentlemen.
  12. I don’t think “The Grove” can stay with the Catholics. From what I have observed. I hope everyone is healthy and playing At game time and that no one gets injured during the game. As good as a state final show.
  13. Not so fast my friend, Brownsburg might have a bone to pick with you on that. After week 9
  14. Very convincing. Can’t come up with a counter to this. They stay put.
  15. Yes, with coaching change ,so often-you loose a lot of valuable building or fine tuning, instead of starting all over. Case in point. IU. So yes and no on Stoops and staff. Yes they have done a good job, but is that the reason Kentucky is ahead of Indiana? Or is it a case of too many coaching changes for indiana to gain any traction? Could be a combination. Yes, Kentucky lapped Indiana. Indiana is behind but I think they unlapped themselves starting with Kevin Wilson til now.
