  1. Most if not all D3 schools set aside ,half of their scoli money ,or more, for athletics, so your statement is a little misleading.
  2. Add all state linebacker Caleb McCoy , to the list.
  3. Then Tom needs to put the money out there, and Don't dangle a carrot in front of these young men's noses. When they could very well be playing or starting, with scoli money at another institution in Indiana. This will weaken the the smaller schools rosters. Not fair for Tom to glut the "Indiana's best" marginal players.
  4. Allen has a distinct advantage with “Indiana’s best” marginal high school players , to the disadvantage of the smaller schools. It’s a Lot easier for these kids to accept a walk on to IU ,than try to get the help needed from parents and coaches to amassing film , statistics ,data necessary to cull a scoli from these other schools. Some don’t have the help or no one will give them the help.
  5. I would venture to guess 1/3 or more of these walk ons would be getting everything paid for at other schools. Getting the best talent in the state has nothing to do with depleting the available talent for other non-major school in the state.
  6. This for Cronk also. As His old coach had him in the fold. And Allen block the move.
  7. Won’t be Michigan State. That was blocked.
  8. Preferred walk on roster for Indiana University is bulging at the seams with Indiana kids. Depleting the available instate athletes for smaller state colleges and universities. including ,but not Limited to.other In state D1schools. Most of these kids will never see the light of day in their career at IU. whether Allen thinks he’s being generous or what. This is not a good thing.
  9. Yes , he probably would have been the third string QB. Good for the transfer portal.
  10. They are elevating an assistant to take over.
  11. Ok,Asking You a specific question looks rude? Is that what you mean? I’m not as qualified as you to discern. Just requesting info.
  12. Are you saying this is a win for Heritage because of the change of coaches? Or because Kolkman is the best for the job. I know Nico wasn’t getting the job done.
  13. Good for Wayne, Sherwood might light a fire under that program.
  14. true statement
  15. And the coaching shuffle continues for the mighty Hoosiers. Darn, hard to get continuity the last several years with coaches.
  16. Indiana loses associate head coach and offensive coordinator to Fresno State. Kalen Deboer
  17. This from a guy who only has snide remarks and innuendo for this forum.LOL
  18. I am a little shocked, thought he may run a few more good years together. But anyway, he was a real big contributor to Indiana high school football. Was president of football coaches association when Indiana High School prominence around the country was in its infancy. As we all knew back then, Indiana was a Basketball state, and all the athletes didn't play football. Well, with Dick Duligans great Ben Davis Teams, And Cathedrals great teams This started to get people around the state to notice there is another sport here. I remember towards the start of Dicks run at Ben Davis, when Bloomington South would regularly schedule them or Cathedral for preseason scrimmage, and stay right with them.. Dick picked up on Mo's new philosophy, No man plays both ways. As we know BD Kicked a lot of butt for several years, And this was also the start of many successful years for Myron(Mo) at Bloomington south also. Good luck to Mo, just don't become a personal financial advisor now. LOL d
  19. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say Pee you by a touchdown tomorrow.
  20. Conxoro You ad nothing to this board except snide remarks and conjecture. Ask anyone
  21. That’s pretty bush league. But par for you
  22. So much for the crazy dream I had. Also, I’m going to hold Indiana accountable for the bucket game. No free pass from me , for the coaches, if they lose this one. That being said in the same breath, the program took a step forward and got to the postseason playground.
  23. This needs to be restated. It was no feat for NP to beat this team tonight. A sub par Bloomington team, that once again proved how good moriorty is.
