  1. They are a year ahead of my personal schedule, I thought 9 to 10 wins was insight but LOTS had to go right, however LOTS has not when comes to injuries on Defense and some creeping up on O as well now. Exciting times Will be in house on Sunday brrrrrrrr
  2. I like Tim Brando I like Tim Brando's Message What if JMU or Tulane or Both win? then what's the narrative for those throwing stones at them for simply showing and playing and winning enough games to qualify under the current system
  3. My response solely on your insertion that Purdue was dormant when the current contract was signed and I simply pointed out the flaw in your opinion on that particular comment you made , so then you pivot to Red Grange Go ahead and do a Conf USA vs Acc side by side. Stop it.
  4. Some Schools choose to put together flyers if you will on their players if they are position award winners or now a top 5 to send out to IFCA regions Since IFCA members get a vote, some take this as an opportunity to show others from other parts of the state what players accomplishments are now that its to all IFCA members, before it was in hands of ALL members, these flyers were essentially done in person in the nomination process in front of Rating board
  5. yup: as stated: Hierarchy as far as IFCA goes Mr. Football Mr. Football Nomination (top 5) Mr. Football Position Award Winner Top 50 (Above Player must come from here) Remember some JRs can make this teams, rarely if SOPH does Class All State Team Jr. All State
  6. Heavy is the Head that wears that exclusive independent/blue-blood Crown
  7. 2017 is when ND and PU decided for this current contract: Year 1 of Jeff Brohm, where under Coach Brohm, Purdue went to 2017: Bowl Game 2018: Bowl Game 2019: Poor Year 4 wins 2020: Covid: only played 6 games 2021: 9 wins Music Bowl Win , Brohm led team lost by 27-13, only time He coached against ND while at Purdue 2022: B10 West Champs and Loss in Title Game to Michigan Brohm Left 2023 thru 2028 ND plays Purdue. So yeah.....about that
  8. So the argument's always been. You had to protect these bowl games at all cost That's why you couldn't do a playoff system like the FCS does. .. or division 1Aa I think now more than ever you can reach that again Get home games for the higher seeds.... In round 1 Then for round two if you want to make it a bowl game situation...... Quarterfinals you can do home games again or second tier bowl locations Semifinals Rose bowl Fiesta bowl Championship game rotates Stadiums in Vegas Indianapolis Glendale sofi Etc
  9. Finally starting to get some headway here Now the government is still dragging their feet on all the other payouts going back to the O'Bannon case
  10. All top rated players have insurance policies out on their bodies anyways. And he still got paid and drafted and all that. But understand that sentiment Also. Bc of Dummy addiction to exhibition bowl games. PERHAPS just maybe. We can see what FCS does with 16 teams. Now that these bowls are losing some power
  11. Now go and find out what year those contracts were signed and how was the that team at that time>? Jeff Brohm was head Coach of Purdue and had his team in B10 Championship game for 1 example. You know how schedules work, but hey you Prez gave her old friends at Kennesaw St a nice fat check dropping Virginia for Kennesaw st. Paid out the contract breakage to Virginia then downgraded..... Conference USA vs ACC team....... Bottom line: UNTIL, someone finally gets it through the presidents skulls of this unfair playing field of each conference and how they schedule, 9 games vs 8 games vs ??? We will continue to see these things unfold......sadly.
  12. Perhaps this will force some sort of UNIFORMED scheduling in Professional Collegiate Football now
  13. Again, agree, cannot take player safety serious when they make players play on Sunday and again on Thursday no argument here but hey, they then get more time off from Thursday to following Sunday....... SMH eye roll
  14. Which gets back to the committee and how they pigeon holed themselves last year keeping SMU in after their loss and continualling saying that a loss in the bonus game will not factor, but somehow that loss gave Miami a boost......s
  15. Welcome to the new world of Professional Collegiate Football There is a reason there is a flag football game called the Pro Bowl. Pro Athletes in the sport of football know the risk and they accept the risks and now accept risks bc there is $$ attached. Professional Collegiate athletes are not going to put their bodies at risk for a swag bag from the sponsors of any exhibition game.
  16. OH BUT IT IS SO SO SO MUCH About the Money Players have more say these days, and if you tell every starter and 2 deep guy they are going to get paid X amount of money to play in Bowl game.......then why say no?
  17. Indeed Emails to membership have not been sent out yet
  18. Good Game, fought, culture change is real, as many many other Bears teams at halftime get blown out instead of throwing an INT on game tying drive. CW18 got a bit greedy, looked like he had DJ on the intermediate and for sure could have thrown Swift or ran for 1st.... part of the learning process for the youngster Winning in Philly softens the blow and then some. Win this week and sit 10-4, with GB coming to town to go 11-4, followed by Loss more than likely at 49ers to be 11-5, then home game to clinch division 12-5 vs Lions or host wildcard game at 11-6 Boom
  19. NFL in a nutshell Everything changes week to week
  20. I am on the same side you are: I am just pointing out that you can get upset about the type of helmet crown photo you linked here all you want, a 15 yard penalty is not going to change anything. And I would opin, the last 5 years you have seen less and less of it on Sundays and Saturdays., but you cannot and will not EVER have it completely leave the game unless the belts and flags come out like they do for the "pro bowl"
  21. do you think SMU should of been dropped last year? Now if you want to complain about the process, then have at it, but the resumes of BYU (better than ND) and Vandy ( on par with ND) also have just as much to complain about then ND does.
  22. If Pop Tart or Music Bowl came to ND with a tier system set up to pay the ND team: Starters get 75K, 2 Deep get 25k, rest of roster 10K, does that move the needle?
  23. If you lack such self discipline in this online community and are asking to be banned due to Adults who you do not know choosing to leave a team you love out of a made for TV and Paid for TV 12 team tournament then we have some serious issue sir. Be angry, sure, asking to be banned and cursing is just sad man, good grief pal As stated, yes, they got invited to the TV tournament, and already named their perm replacement so different scenarios Been saying it for months, it will come down to suits and Epsn, no matter how often they claim it wouldn't. Now am I surprised that they chose to eliminate one of the largest fan bases in America in lieu of the conf ties, yes I am, but as pointed out in nausea around here, many of the criteria (and I am on the side of the Criteria is bogus) was not kind to ND, and they paid the price this year. I am with someone, I think I saw on the timeline, may have been BAIRD at Indy Star, time to get Athletic Directors out of the committee and how bout some actual data analysis type folks and understanding of a computer system
