Same way the new summer laws came into effect for football and it was a good thing, but once the tragic death of Cory Stringer happened, then States rules got looked at as it related to heat and Indiana at the time like almost ALL OTHER State did not grade out well, so it was you develop a policy or the Suits in Indy General Assembly does..... that's a hard pass for me and glad the IFCA leadership took it and ran with it instead of the other side of the coin

We summer scrimmaged Laporte one year with Coach Sharpe, I think year 2 or 3 at LaPorte.... 12 plays from the 40..... 12 untouched Touchdowns. The definition of the TABLE TOP 7 man FLYING T..... my goodness, it was spectacular ~~ I was like, glad I don't do anything defensively !!! Plus in summer when do it the right way, that is a real real real tough ask for your kids to stay up and all that rightfully so. BINGO

Just an FYI – Rule 15-2.4 Limited Contact Program “…in football no protective equipment such as a helmet, shoulder pads, padding or a girdle may be used…” We have now had several reports of protective gear being used during limited contact period. Protective gear includes, but is not limited to soft shell helmets, girdles, and any type of shpoulder pads. Thank you.

Now, just waiting for ALL SPORTS to get that limited SUMMER Calendar of what you can and cannot do?? You know 14 years ago .... it's coming.. 🙂 You're not supposed to do anything that would create contact so why need for mouth guard for protection when you are supposed to be installing and on air reps.......

Fun being in the back end but as Poles said, way different and I love how he didn't overstep their board to fill a EDGE, Great for BOOKER, but man, could of had Curry, but stays home to Colts , that's cool too. Be fun to st Coach Johnson use his new gadget guy they got who runs 428 and is an accomplished return guy. Seems ;like Poles last 3 or 4 drafts has really focused on a taking the productive player from Power conferences rather than sexy numbers combine measurable from non p4 conf.... Good strategy imo.
