As a Wisconsin Native and resident this makes me so freaking happy seeing a QB from my high school get this offer.

Wisconsin is a great school for a QB.  Guaranteed to have a good OL to protect you and a good RB to keep things balanced and the defense guessing.

Absolutely.  The Badgers are my second favorite team, albeit a distant second, in the B1G.  Camp Randall is an amazing stadium and Madison is an awesome college town.

All good, I'm not the least bit sensitive:)

Quoting myself again.  Being that I live near Chicago, I hear a lot of “Rodgers sucks”, etc.  He does have a ring, though, which many of the current Bears squad does not and 1985 was a long time ago...

The old Aaron Rodgers showed up yesterday......

    But he still sucks  😉

Those TD passes a 2 clutch 3rd Down Conversions on the final drive really underscore his ineptitude...

Survive and advance, right? lol I was certain they lost after that next to last drive stalled and the punt was bad. The 3 and out after the last Seattle score really put them in a bind. But that has been the storyline all season. A A Ron needs to get the ball out quick next week. He cannot press the ball down field looking for the home run shot so much. Take what they give and keep the chains moving.

I hope Aaron Jones runs for 300 yards.

Oh, and Russell Wilson > Jimmy Garoppolo.

Is that why he chose TCU? He probably should have said that on Twitter. Instead he blabbed on about how it is his "dream school," said God led him, and called it a business decision. Now he's being crucified on Twitter by Purdue fans.

He’s a 21 year old kid, akin to a lot of my interns.  That age makes questionable decisions all the time.

    #1 (15-0) NDSU vs. #2 (14-1) JMU

If you are a skeptic of this "type" or "level" of football, I implore you to turn the game on or continue to watch the game.

Perfect example of big boy football is the last offensive play of Q1 by NDSU.

Quality football can be, and is played, at every level.

I’m definitely not.  It’s great for schools like ND State to get some national exposure,  sure, JMU is in Virginia, but I don’t see them faring to well in the ACC.  C-USA maybe, but they’re kind of like the south’s version of the MAC.

I think when up 35 points in the second half, offenses should be forced to go with 5 WR sets or minimum empty backfields.

Get that ball up the air!!!!  Fake downing the ball and fake victory formations!!!!! Lots of gadget plays!!!

We need Coach Kreese at South Newton!!! Johnny Lawrence can start at QB and platoon (because they do those things at 1A schools) at Defensive Tackle.

Good ideas, but not based on my limited experience (I'm biased.).

Since you can't have 2-a-days, does it matter if school is in session or not? How is starting earlier a disadvantage? For many teams, it's easier for players to get to practice once school starts. It does take up coach's time, so you might have a point there.

I don't know about 5A, but 6A doesn't need another game. Especially around Indy, most teams are having to play each other again in the playoffs. Too many teams are scheduling out of state games. I felt the week off was a blessing.

I'd hate to lose a close game on the road during the regular season and then that team ends up with the home field advantage again in the playoffs because of it. Sagarin ratings would be the way to go, but I like it the way they are - meaningless.

You're right about neutral sites being a bad idea. I first heard that idea brought up after Carmel lost to Highland in the semi-state back in the 80's. It wasn't fair that they had to go up north and play in the cold in a rough part of town. They wanted all semi-state games played in Indy. I guess life truly isn't fair.

Neutral site games are an abomination.

NFL...don't really have a favorite team.....but since I live in the Chicago market and do not care to by the red zone package, I watch Bears games the most.

Comparing franchises and if I could watch weekly....I would take the Packers everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

To me, the Bears are a rung or 2 above the Browns on the NFL ladder.

I hope the Pack win it all.

    I’ve always liked you!
