I’m struggling to think of a game that started later than 7:00 due to heat in Evansville.
But we are central time, which the whole state should be on. Until Indianapolis wisens up (not likely) and realizes they should be central time, heat will be an issue for 82 counties early in the season.
I’d like for that to happen also, but it won’t...

Then again, 7:30 starts would be OK.

Keep everything as is, I see very little wrong with it.

Put him on the "hands" team....

Purdue will be playing Ole Miss in a few years--buy tickets now!!!

Time to get schizo again! Jacob Eason is the QB out of Warshington and Tee Higgins (Clemson) and Justin Jefferson (LSU) are two wideouts worth looking at.

Watching the bowl games this week, Green Bay really needs to start looking to the future. I know it’s not likely that guys like Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert won’t be around when the time comes, but hey need to be thinking ahead. The season that Rodgers has had should increase the sense of urgency to get his replacement on the roster.
I agree. Rodgers has 2-3 good seasons left in the tank and GB could also use some receivers. That guy out of Washington (name?) could be a good QB pickup and as for WR, I like Quintez Cepheus out of Wisconsin.
Good luck with the puzzle. I have a QR puzzle to solve myself...

Im 32, only child and already lost my dad 18 years ago... Not married and 0 kids.
And i am for sure, im a big soft teddy bear but ive found strength i never knew i had because of her.
She is 1 of my two best friends, 1 of 2 of my heroes and 1 of my two role models (other 1 of all three being my dad!)
Thank you and sorry for your loss gip..
Thanks. I wish you both well.

There really is no hard and fast definition of a "blue blood", at least for me, as my approach is a little subdued. I do remember watching teams like Alabama, Notre Dame, and USC who were pretty good back in the day and are still pretty good now. Others, such as Nebraska, may have fallen off a bit, but given their wild fan base in Nebraska, I also consider them in that category. Purdue & IU? Not really blue bloods in football, but always fun to watch as you wat your teams to do well.

Christmas sucked, Spent it in hospital with my mother as she was diagnosed with stomach cancer.
Shes been home since 27th. Hard to see her weak but its treatable and shes willing to fight. Thank gosh.
Hope all is well.
I pray for you, my brother. I lost my mother to leukemia years ago. My recommendation for you is to be a pillar of strength for your dear mother and loved ones.
Godspeed.

SEC--So, Everybody Cheats. The ACC doesn't have a cool acronym like that, they just wait for basketball season...

who would you have had?

Dabo’s a great coach. A promising guy who will go down in history with coaches like Bryant, Holtz, and Schembechler. Even Saban.

Kill this thread now. 10 team conferences do NOT add scheduling flexibility, as you maintain. Both the HCC and the MIC are happy the way they are. It actually allows each to play one another in the regular season. And Columbus North is not a good fit for either conference. They and CE need to join the Mid State, or both get in CI.
Here's the deal: one doesn't always need to build a better mousetrap. There would be flaws if these proposed mergers, acquisitions, mergers, jamborees, hootnannies, ad honkytonks were to be implemented anyway.

I don’t like 10-school leagues, it all but eliminates any out of conference games.

Marginalized or not, I think the southwest corner of our great state represents us well on the gridiron--they also have some fine looking honeys as I conned one into walking down the aisle with me!

Didn’t really see that coming, but happy to take the win. Although Aaron Rodgers wasn’t his normal self, the running game was great. Only allowing 10 points was on the (in a building we had never won) was also good. Happy Holidays, cheeseheads!

Several years ago, I was watching Mike and Mike and Golic was talking about playing in big games. He said something along the lines of, I know people say things like we want that team to be completely healthy when we play them so we can say we beat them when they were at full strength. You know what? That was complete bull. I wanted our opponents as beat up as possible. I. Don’t care how we win, I just want to win. lol
I'd rather have Kirk Cousins healthy and Dalvin Cook injured than the other way around.

The way I see it, there has never been a talent problem in the region. I always viewed the problem being coaching. I'm not saying the Region hasn't had any great coaches, but by and large, they are being outperformed by their counterparts in other areas of the state. Is that a fair assessment?
The talent is there, as well as the numbers. I just am unsure and their typical brand of smash mouth football can compete with the schools downstate.

I don't really know where this upper hand argument comes into play. Both are great leagues with great teams, passionate fans, etc. Just part of what makes Indiana HS football great!

Dalvin Cook will most likely not play on Sunday.

The Vikings next Sunday. So be it. I’d rather team we’ve beaten twice this season than face a future Hall of Famer.
