We had a player from the visiting team ordered by the crew to cover his knees completely. As the player was coming to the sidelines he's all WTF'ing and "I've been wearing them this way all f'ing season (to his coaches) The officials did make sure that he knew he wasn't playing unless his pads covered his knees and that the coaches were reminded that this was covered in pre-game. I was under the impression the knees being covered was always a requirement. Are the players complaints a result of other crews not enforcing the requirements?

Thanks for all of that. As a chain ganger I now know better how to judge a crew and how they do things.

I like smart football so both of those are acceptable to me. I also like seeing basketball players actually use the glass. Other peoples opinions may vary.

Depending on where you are on the east (visitors) sideline the play clock obstructs the view of the lower part of the scoreboard. Ooops

I was on the Eastbrook sideline and the only heckling I heard was from Eastbrook fans yelling "Show some respect" which I suppose was because the players, neither Tipton or Eastbrook, were kneeling. While, at the same time one of the Eastbrook coaches was reminded that he could not be on the field or giving instruction during an injury timeout.

Recent* history has Tipton and Eastbrookt 1-1, both winning on their home field. (* verified back to 1994) Nothing about playing at Tipton last year caused Eastbrook's uncharacteristic mistakes in the first half.

MG hosts the 2A Volleyball sectional that Tipton plays in, will find out then if it was a bad night or something else.

Looked like a catch with a couple of steps and dropped it on the unnecessary reach. But I was wearing wearing my blue tinted glasses Friday night and it was straight across the field with players in the way a little. Tipton video is from upstairs so sideline players might block the view. Heights uses an end zone camera so maybe they have a better view. would like to see it.

I was highly disappointed at the MG/Tipton Volleyball game. The meat sauce was not near the same as it had been in the past. Not as sweet, not even the same color as it should be no where near the right flavor. The grilled hamburgers/cheeseburgers served at the football games I hope are still top notch.

Pizza Shack Update... will now be called "The Shack" The building is undergoing a to the bones renovation. The old awning facade will come off that covers the upstairs windows so that space can become a lounge. The menu will be expanded to include grill items, the pizza and salad bar will remain. The new owners have extensive experience in the restaurant and food truck business, this is no rookie effort to revive a business. 2012 when Luers played, and won, the regional at Tipton the crew was from the Fort Wayne area. As it turned out, the crew was excellent and did a fine job controlling what turned out to be a difficult situation at times.

WWI not II and it was a French unit that was referred to as Blue Devils Interesting aside... Elwood changed mascots and colors frequently in the early years and used Blue Devils before they switched permanently to the Panther in the mid to late '20s I found it interesting that Noblesville's mascot resembled Purdue Pete but for the school song the music is the IU song. Also, all of the schools in Northern Hamilton County that eventually became Hamilton Heights used the IU fight song as well. I find it interesting that "The Blackhawk" somewhat resembles a vulture only with feathers on the head.

Luers has very few two way players. At Tipton whenever there was a possession change or special teams play it was a wholesale change of personnel for Luers, stepping on our chains and getting in our way as we were trying to get to where we needed to be. When there is 22 bodies moving through that area it can get congested.

When we are on offense I can drag Fred, when we are on defense I sometimes have to prod him down the sideline. Maybe Kory should have got the deluxe cattle prod option when he got us new sticks and chain. If Doug is good to go this week won't have to worry about Fred.
