  1. Good morning my friend. It has been this way for years with Bosse and the SIAC. It's funny that you mention Castle, because it reminded me of when they were able to snatch Big Play Ray from the Bulldogs years ago. Now enjoy this juicy fart sandwich and good luck to the Titans this year.
  2. I have a flatus hoagie for you. The talk around the WRC is that it will be interesting to see who is still footballing for the Wolfs next year, players and coaches included. There is no doubt about this year though. They are the most dominant football team in the Wabash Vally.
  3. Suffice it to say that the Miners have seldom seen a juggernaut like the Wolfs offense throughout the long and illustrious history of their football program.
  4. That's just another reason why they call the WRC the SEC of Indiana high school football
  5. This is just a hunch, but perhaps Reb has access to the bird's eye view provided by a Hi-Pod X31 while everyone else is looking at an inferior shot. There's really nothing quite like an X31 fully extended on an October Friday evening, towering over all else in majestic splendor.
  6. As Friday night draws closer, I had some thoughts to share with the WRC brethren. Better entertainment for your Friday night: A WRC football game or gambling at the local cock fight? Also I think they should strap spider monkeys to the greyhounds that race at the dog tracks. A dog can only be the winner if the spider monkey jockey stays upright till the end. Is it safe to try to domesticate coyotes? Who wins in a fight between 10 fighting cocks and 1 coyote?
  7. I like you Bear. I will share my fart sandwiches with you and also share some helpful insight. No team is at full strength anymore. Injuries, covid, hemorrhoids, whatever. Every week pretty much all teams are dealing with not being at full strength.
  8. Marshall Mathers, Hi my name is chickachicka Tanka Jahari. Do you like sandwiches?
  9. Insights: 1. It's going to be a beautiful night for football 2. Covington and North Vermillion. The battle for the Pilot/Arby's Lot Lizard Trophy. My prediction remains the same as it was at the beginning of the week. 3. Have you noticed that shorter shorts are back in style for men? Not so for Brian Moore. His shorts have to be at least knee length to keep him from getting charged with indecent exposure. The Wolfs win by four touchdowns this weekend. 4. Is there a team harder hit by Covid than Riverton Parke and South Vermillion? Oh yeah, Attica. 5. Congratulations to Fountain Central on crushing RP. I think they're going to be 2-1 by the end of the night. 6. I cannot pick against Prince Herb. The man is a fabulous coach and human. 7. Skip the concession stand at Parke Heritage. The Wolfs food gave me explosive diarrhea and I ended up crapping in my shorts.
  10. I ate food from the Parke Heritage concession stand and it made me crap in my pants by the end of the 1st quarter. When the Wolfs scored the first touchdown of the game, the fireworks display overstimulated me and the poop came cascading out like hot buttered lard through a sieve. It was a steamy August evening, perfect weather for wearing shorts. There were a couple of kids playing under the bleachers beneath me. The sounds of their confused and disgusted screams will haunt me for all of my earthly days.
  11. Sir be careful what you ask for. I have a pic-a-nic basket full of sulphur sammies to hand out to my WRC friends. Starting with the Panthers and Ramblers, this is an intriguing matchup. If I were Attica, I would heed this advice for a victory. When the Panthers gather in the tool shed that they run out of at the beginning of games, I would lock them inside and set it on fire. Otherwise I see the Panthers picking up the win. Will Attica stop in Mecca on the way to the game to round up some of the stray dogs to boost their program numbers? Mustangs get mounted by the Mounties for a Southmont win and cheap thrills. I do expect an improved FC squad this year. I can see 3-4 wins for them in the conference this year. North Central and North Vermillion is a bit of a head scratcha. Sullivan county hasn't seen a battle of the birds this epic since the last round of cock fights in Hymera. I am going to pick the Falcons because they play in the SEC of Indiana high school football. Wolfs and Patriots. Epic showdown. 2 of the 3 WRC hall of fame coaches battling in week 1. I seldom if ever pick against a team led by Prince Herb, but I NEVER pick against King Brian the Lion Moore. Also I have heard some complaints, but I say kudos to Rockville for going out and finding the pieces they needed to win a state championship. Mark my words, anything less than a state championship in 2021 will be a disappointing end for the King Moore era. Speaking of hall of fame coaches, Greg Barrett leads the Tigers to a win over the Trojans with his potent offense. The Cat's air assault will give the opposition problems all year, and geez Louise can that man sport a visor.
  12. Thats a great point Donnie. Would you say it is accurate that many teams have benefited from transfers over the years in the WRC? I have heard that South Vermillions has a few Terre Haute kids. Parke Heritage Wolfs have several I guess from Terre Haute and Clay County. I have heard that North Vermillions has a few former Georgetown Buffalos in their program. I remember Fountain Centrals getting a few transfers back when Malone took them on their most recent state finals runs. I remember hearing about a really good running back from Parke County playing at North Vermillion who was friends with Junior Martinss' kid. Some would call that player a difference maker.
  13. Some of the new dudes are defensive linemen, so I think that's the hope. They are going to be VERY good this year.
  14. I have a few thoughts on this poll that I would like to share. The first thing that comes to mind is that Parke Heritage is much better than #6 in 1A. With the fire power they return, plus a slew of transfers from Terre Haute and Brazil, the Wolfs should be ranked #1 or better. Coach Brian Moore, one of three hall of fame coaches in the WRC, is set up for one last championship run before he rides off into the sunset. I got to see them a couple of times this summer, and Coach Moore has that old gleam back in his eye and spring in his step. The second thing that comes to mind is who are the simple fools that voted for North Vermillion? 3 votes coming off of a 1-9 season in which they struggled to stay competitive? It makes a person wonder if the people who voted in this poll did any background research.
  15. I'm sorry for the trouble. The kid's family was originally moving to Christmas Lake, but they ran out of gas in Cannelton, so they are now settled there. I posted about him transfering to Heritage Hills before I knew they'd busted flat in Bulldog town. That's a great question about Cannelton having an endzone camera though. Often times people automatically think of football when it comes to endzone cameras, but they're great for other sports too. And they can be used outside of the sports realm as well. You should see a wedding, funeral, or bris shot from the bird's eye view offered by the Hi-Pod X31. But I digress......
  16. Why be another in the long line of stud athletes at Heritage Hills when you can be the best athlete to ever walk the halls of Cannelton high school?
  17. I apologize for posting some bad information. I should've verified the info before putting it out there. It turns out the athlete I was talking about is NOT going to be at Heritage Hills. The Cannelton Bulldogs will be the lucky landing spot for this stud athlete.
  18. If what I'm told is true, the "twitch" athlete problem at Heritage Hills has been, or is in the process of being solved. It's Christmas in May in Santa Claus, and the Patriots have been gifted a dynamic athlete.
  19. I too am disgusted by this footage. Ground level, no hi-def. It blows my mind that in this day and age, with everything we now know about football, that there are still teams not using endzone cameras to film their practices. 😤 😡🤬
  20. I am looking for thoughts on this coming season in the SEC of Indiana high school football. I think things are shaping up to be possibly the most competitive year in a long time. I am not sure what team is the front runner at this point. Here are my thoughts about some possibilities. I will list in alphabetical order. ATTICA will probably struggle with numbers. If they had more depth they would challenge more. The WRC is better when the Ramblers are good. COVINGTON is looking for a new coach again. I will have to chalk this up to having to face three hall of fame coaches every year. The WRC grind is no joke. Be careful what you wish for, because Travis Brown faced the gauntlet down every year and managed to put together competitive teams in spite of it. Travis Brown sports beach balls in his trousers. FOUNTAIN CENTRAL is steadily improving. Coach Hall gets credit for not being afraid to lose and if he gets things back to the Mustang standard he should be awarded a lifetime contract and free soup for life. It is one thing to rebuild a program, but to do it in the SEC of Indiana is nearly unfathomable. NORTH VERMILLION hit the ground in 2020. Time will tell if there is anything left there. Do the Falcons get up off of the mat in 2021 or is it just Glory Days now in the land between the rivers? How the mighty have fallen. PARKE HERITAGE tick tick tick tick tick..........how much time is left on the clock for the Wolfs to capitalize on the consolidation of Rox and Warriors? With hall of famer Brian Moore leading the pack, the WRC title may be the Wolfs to lose this year. Find me a better QB Receiver combo than Johnson and Johnson and I'll give you a prize. RIVERTON PARKE seems like they keep making strides in the right direction. The Panthers have loaded talented classes getting ready to come through. They are probably a couple of years away from challenging for top spot. One things for certain though, when you travel to RP to play there is always a skeeter on your peter. That place is like a rain forrest. SEEGER is there a better coach in the WRC than Prince Herb? The newest hall of fame inductee joins Moore and Barrett in enshrinement this spring and much deserved it is. Week 1 of the season will provide a clash of the titans as the Patriots travel to Rockville. The King versus the Prince to start the season is like a broken clock, you can't beat it. SOUTH VERMILLION Wildcat nation is still reeling from winning the championship last year, only to fall to Prince Herb the following week. Hall of famer Greg Barrett has done a masterful job building the program in Clinton. The Tigers return plenty of pieces from their championship team to challenge again this year. Final thoughts for now: If you have never attended a home game for the Wolfs or the Wildcats you are missing out. It's like the Gaza Strip but with more midair explosions.
  21. Bumping this to the top. I also wanted to add the list of confirmed speakers Jake Holmes - Head of Videography for Sports Performance at Florida State University Rusty Shartz - Head of Videography for the Cleveland Browns Max Bohner - Head of Videography for performance at the University of Nevada Las Vegas
  22. Have you considered the possibility that Gibson Southern has a better endzone camera set-up than Castle? Perhaps the young man feels that if he plays at Gibson he will have better endzone film to send to colleges.
