  1. Heritage Hills represented the PAC well at the Kentucky Wesleyan 7on7 tournament. Beat Owensboro Catholic in the final.
  2. While there were a handful of events for the lineman, the tug of war was definitely the most fun to watch.
  3. No, I was wondering who won it. We got torched by Decatur Central in the first round of the tournament....not really our game, but always good to compete.
  4. To my dismay, we are no longer a "wishbone team". Still heavy on the run, but seldom run the wishbone. When we need a yard....guess what we run...
  5. Heritage Hills represented the PAC well on Saturday up in Indy. 2nd place in the lineman challenge among some heavyweights.
  6. Funny, Kenton's name came up at lunch today. The dude would be running fast and people that didn't know any better would say "wow, he's fast", and then he would go up 2 more gears. He was a freak athlete.
  7. We are looking forward to something different. Tell City should not have been on our schedule the next year after we were not in the same conference. Glad we finally moved on.
  8. Sounds like that DeLong kid made a decision based on maturity. I don't know, but I think if I had a chance to speak to his dad, I'd tell him that he had done well raising that kid. I mean ultimately what is going to pay the bills, right? Maturity wins.
  9. I suppose, but sometimes there is a bigger story, the last coach was only 1 year, so 1 - 0 against that one--but it counts!!!
  10. We miss this game on our schedule. Terribly miss it. This is historically one of our best rivalries (SR would be the next) as we were 11-10 against them....so at least we can always say that we got a game on them. Not to mention that not one Jasper coach has a winning record against HH. Love that one! I laughed too hard at this....because it's true. By the way, not everyone enjoys that schedule.
  11. Expectations are high as they always are, but higher this year. I hope these boys can live up to the hype.
  12. Yes, his son. And then there is his daughter who is breaking track records in 7th grade.
  13. This is true....this kid can do just about whatever they ask him, but I am not sure he will be challenged with those things.
  14. Yeah, the dude can fling a 9 route as good as anybody, and if you cover Ruxer to close early in the route you are getting burnt. That only works once against a good team if at all, so not terribly useful. I'm not sure that what you are saying will be "developed" this fall or the next. I'd be surprised due to his ability on his legs, the answer will be "why throw when he can run". He isn't what Jay was on his legs (I've never seen anything like Jay in high school in person), but Jett has a couple years yet--obviously we are all hoping he will surpass Jay. It appears that he may lack some size--he is only 16 though.
  15. Decade: Brady Allen All Time: Jay Cutler Hopes and dreams to exceed both--Jett Goldsberry
  16. The Terry boys are studs (we'd love to have them at HH) but I can't see TC having the horsepower to beat up on SR. We will see....
  17. And reviving some old rivalries! Batesville might have something to say about that......again.
  18. Sectional 32 was as presumed. Brutal. 5 (or maybe 6) of those 8 teams could simultaneously be in the top 10.
  19. We are closer to Nashville, Tennessee than Chatard. You will have even better warm up facilities on your playoff run in 4A this year.....those schools are waaaaay nicer.
  20. I weep for these poverty programs.
  21. What is the possibility that Southridge, Heritage Hills, Gibson Southern, Memorial, and Mater Dei all end up in the same sectional? All of those teams could easily be in the top 10 and maybe even some in top 5 in 3A.
  22. In every school below 4A this is likely fact. Carmel has theirs made by skilled craftsmen from Italy.
  23. We (Heritage Hills) will travel to Christian Academy of Louisville in week 2.
  24. We played them in sectionals a couple years ago. I don't think their football team has been very good. Maybe this guy will bring the change they are looking for.
