Well, open enrollment does not equal immediate eligibility for public schools. I think people would prefer things be equal if they are competing together. It doesn't seem that ridiculous.

I don't believe anyone got ejected. I never saw a punch thrown or anything. Just a lot of grabbing and shoving away from the play and after the whistle. I thought they called unsportsman like conduct to both teams which offset and applied the roughing the punter penalty.

Nothing led up to it that I saw. Had a roughing the punter call on the same play. I think it was just two kids that got worked up.

He was assisted off Weekend at Bernie's style. Sat on the bench the rest of the game. I'm guessing concussed.

It was kinda scary for a couple minutes. From the stands, you couldn't see any movement at all.

Wasn't Zionsville. I can't remember who it was. Around early 2000s I believe. Maybe someone from that area can correct me.

It has probably been longer than I realize but I remember when Zionsville finished 4-5 and won the state finals. I believe it was pre-6A. I'll have to check John Harrell.

I may be in the wrong here and I know that 1 person thinks I am but when I look around at NCAA basketball, it seems to be expanding post-season participation. Same with college football adding to their playoff. NFL added post season teams with a 7th seed recently. MLB recently expanded also. NO ONE is cutting back on post-season play. They are all expanding. Motivated by money, sure but no one is going the way of contracting post season play.

I would say it's more likely seperate public/private tournaments follow a qualifier.

I feel like you the vast majority of people on this thread disagree with what you're putting out there but I do appreciate your confidence in continually believing you're right. Keep up the good fight. I personally would like to see the sectionals seeded, no rematch games in the first round, and private schools in their own tournament but I'll probably never see it. I feel like I'm ok with things not being the way I want all the time.
