I'd like to see WW go the route that Gibson Southern has and play a school like LCC. Prepare yourself for the tournament run. I think there is 27 teams looking for a game Friday. Surely they can come up with one.

Switzerland Co. (CC planned week 1 game that was cancelled) is open this week. Seems like an easy one to set up.

This map was used in a previous thread. According to this 14 States are carrying on as normal. 20 are having modified seasons. 16 are not having a football season. Is there a grey area for playing but modified. Some of these states have pushed back football for a month or more but have not actually began. I don't doubt what you heard on Clay Travis, I'm just not certain he is accurate.

For a second there, I thought you finally contributed to the forum. You got me. Well played.

I really miss the days when this forum was about high school football and the kids. The personal attacks, politics and constant negativity are too much.

It seems odd that this post gets 0 replies and there are a bazillion posts about cancelling/postponing the season.

I apologize for my ignorance in the matter but how do proposals work? Who has to approve and if it is approved, then what?

I interviewed at TC yesterday for their head coaching job (which will not be going to me incase you were wondering) and their AD said TC and HH not playing was never discussed and he doesn't see them ever not being on the schedule.

I'll do it. I can teach PE and like wearing red.

Not that I care what you do but I'm curious. Why wouldn't you accept head coaching pay? You are doing the work and putting the time in. I know you're not doing it for the money. Most coaches don't but I know a few that do. It just seems fair to me that you get paid.

Why would you say SS is a sleeping giant? Facilities? Athletes coming up? Administration support? I think they're re-doing the weight room, right?

Dave Stephens at Pike Central works for a special education co-op and Joe Morris at Washington is the head of chamber of commerce for Daviess Co. so those 2 are not Strength teachers or administrators.

I remember my last year as an assistant I would have a practice with varsity kids then JV game on Monday, Practice Tuesday followed by my son's youth practice. Wouldn't get home until 7:30 or 8. Wednesday just HS practice. Thursday practice then youth practice. Friday game. Saturday youth game, watching films. Always made sure I watched the Louisville game. Sunday my younger sons had soccer games and we had our coaches meeting. I actually took a day off of school (probably a sick day) so I could catch up on mowing one week. It was my favorite season I have had coaching.
