I was told no football this year for the Rock Creek HS and Junior High programs.

Who does everyone have for scrimmages this week? Paoli @ Forest Park

Paoli lost quite a bit from last year. Looking to replace 4 out of 5 OL, 2 Slotbacks, 2 WRs and a QB offensively. Defensively, we are replacing 2 out of 3 DL, 2 out of 4 LBs, and all 4 DBs. But every school is replacing guys. We did scrimmage Jeffersonville and Salem right before break. I don't think there were any surprises in what we saw. We were missing some guys we really wanted to look at to see if they could give us some depth but the guys on the field looked like they knew what was going on.

Due to last minute cancelation, Paoli is in need for a team for an 11 on 11 tonight from 6-8. Teams involved are Paoli, Jeffersonville and Salem. Need 1 more school. I mostly like this because I definitely think other sports should be regulated. But I don't think they should wait until May and come up with restrictions for the immediate summer. I feel like that puts the basketball coaches who are currently putting together those summer schedules in a tough spot. But I'm very happy they doing something. The multi-sport athlete is dead by mid to late June. When my son doesn't want to walk up the stairs to a water slide and that keeps me from riding water slides, something has to be done.

I do appreciate the hard work that went into this but I did notice Wood Memorial listed. Wood hasn't fielded a team in several years and I haven't heard that they are going to start back up.

I'm pretty sure I read this will be a pilot season for 8-man football. 13 teams I think it what it was.

Someone messaged me last night and said it was the same guy. I had to unfollow that Facebook page.

Part of this, I'll agree with. In 2019, we should not have been playing a varsity schedule. I thought a JV schedule would benefit us having so many kids new to football and allow them to learn and enjoy playing. I tried to plead my case prior to the season and for financial reasons, we continued with a varsity schedule. I don't know why the principal should be fired. He does a great job at that school and they're lucky to have him. He has enough to worry about and athletics is not on his plate but the AD. Speaking of the AD, there will be a new AD starting in January. He will do a great job there.

The better question is why would anyone carry the "Contraction" torch for DT?

Attended this clinic in 2018. Best clinic I've been to. Definitely worth the trip.

I was thinking last year that Brownstown, Forest Park, Providence, Clarksville were all candidates to move down. Southridge too possibly. Pike Central was firmly in the middle of 3A I believe.

I do love the Titan Clash. Very well ran.

Are there a lot of concussions occurring during these youth tournaments? If there are not, I doubt this is the cause of the concussion problems.
