Madison is sliding into the Valley spot and Valley is taking Jennings County. I cant see the Salem/WW rumor as true but maybe they want to/need to move it off the last week of season and play earlier? Who knows. Find out over the summer. I never know schedule changes until it hits Harrels. Haha

Man thats hard to imagine being true. I don't think they've played in Jr high baseball in awhile. They don't in basketball at all levels. Did in softball. Played JR high football this year and never do in JV football. Not sure it benefits anyone to not play in football but who knows.

A little out of your element talking about the little guys? Haha. Springs Valley vs North Daviees this week will clear up North Daviees question marks. Feels no mention of the defending state champ is a mistake...Providence looks pretty good. Decent schedule. Sophmore QB. Potential 2nd round matchup between SV and Providence will be fun.

PLAC tourny breakdown Mitchell- Sorry. Linton is a tough send off Crawford- never won a tournament game in thier history. They are good enough to beat Clarksville. Good draw to continue with the good season. Rd 2 will probably be it. Perry- Worst season i have ever seen. Just a shocker. Young team but North Daviess looks to be a tall task West Washington- maybe the hardest to predict. 2 hr and 20 min bus ride to Knightstown. Knightstown scores alot. Throws. Defense is very suspect. I dont think WW scores enough. Paoli- will/should beat Pekin. Tough ask to head to Brownstown for a 2nd straight year. Springs Valley- good draw for them. I like the fact Forest Park is RD 1. Not great team but not a team thats got 0 hope. SV should advance and will have to travel to Providence on Halloween. Should be a damn good one.

Who would/could we add? Pekin joined elsewhere as did Clarksville. Always thought maybe North Daviees or Eastern Greene but believe that conference is expanding. Salem wont leave MSC even as the smallest school. Feels tough.

He did. His mom i believe graduated from Valley. Cant remember when he left. Not sure he even made it to Jr High (I know he played 8th grade at Owen Valley). Hes good but he plays in air raid offense. Valley runs like 85% of the time. Hard to know how much he would change this Valley team. Senior Blake Buchannan is a good runner/decent thrower. Like 170 on the geound against Paoli. Not sure how well Stephans runs so hard to really know how he would fit

Springs Valley has 4 sectional titles. 88, 89, 90, 92. Went to state in 89.

Providence is struggling to schedule. Already cant find week i and would lose week 9. Already play 2 indy schools. Tough going. Valley to JC would be about 1.5 hrs. Is a haul but scheduling only gets harder. With MSC having so few weeks open.

Some are already being worked on. Pretty sure Salem and Madison will play week 5 with Springs Valley taking Jennings County that week

Last I knew SV didn't have a game on OCT 12. Perry cancelled JV season. At 1 point I heard maybe Linton but nothing official as far as I know

Watched a little Crawford this week. Seen they were running flexbone. After the Mitchell game its Valley, Paoli, and WW all in row. Just win 1 and they may be looking at 6-3.

Scrolling through harrells and being a more southern IN guy thought I'd give a couple shout outs to team who may not have been noticed yet. 1. Switzerland County Pacers. 4-0 for just 2nd time in school history and last night got first ever win against Milan. The school record is 6 wins but could see 8-1 season. Hugh test against North Decatur next week. Common for both is Milan both had similar scores. 2. Crawford County Wolfpack. 3-1 and lone loss is to above Pacers. Got first conference win in 10(!) Years and first ever win against Perry Central. Program started in 07 and this is only 2nd time they have seen 3 wins with school record being 4 in 2008. They have a decent chance to break that and maybe see schools first ever winning record. 3. Edgewood Mustangs. 4-0 and a win over what was 1A #1 South Putnam. Already the most wins since 2019 (8) which was also last time they beat Putnam. They won total of 4 games last 2 years. Probably more out there but find these stood out. Especially CC who is my conference. Good on these 3 teams and coaches getting a heck of a start on the season
