You forgot to include 95 yards to 0 yards in your halftime stats. Tampa Bay received their first penalty with 2:35 left in the third quarter. All three TB first half TD's were aided by questionable db calls. BTW, I don't care who wins the game. I do admit I dislike Tommy and always will. But most Indy fans also dislike him.

Both schools should suffer serious consequences, and some of the players involved should never play again, and even face criminal charges. This wasn't just a scrap or a fight this was mayhem to the max. This kind of chickenbleep behavior has no business in sports, especially at the collegiate level!

IU was a QB short today. Tuttle was not the answer although he played somewhat better in the 2nd half. I don't understand why the Hoosiers didn't run the ball more the first half when Tuttle seemed lost. The defense did a good job even though they were on the field a lot of the game, especially the first half. I really thought they were going to pull it out when Ole Miss missed the extra point. I guess it was just not to be.

If it's Alabama vs. tOSU there will be two Cathedral grads starting in the Championship Game. OL #55 Emil Ekiyor for Alabama, and LB #20 Pete Werner for tOSU.😎

You should know better than to take my advice. That's why I very seldom make predictions. I don't know where this Ohio State team came from. They look like the Buckeyes of Urban Meyer days! They sure didn't play like this against Northwestern.

The coach of Coastal Carolina was chosen as the AP COTY. I guess beating Brigham Young is bigger than wins against Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and a one score loss to tOSU, at team that's in the CFP's. Rodney Dangerfield must be in Bloomington, IN this years.

I see nothing wrong with today's Irish effort. It was a whole lot better than the last Clemson debacle. The talent difference is enormous! Clemson will clean 'Bama's clock! Bet the farm!

IU is in a no win situation. If they whip up on Ole Miss it's because Ole Miss isn't very good, and if IU loses to Ole Miss the "experts" will say "see we were right. I'm hoping for a big IU win. I think Tom Allen is the real deal. BTW, I saw IU play Wisconsin without Penix and then looked ok. They aren't as potent without him but they should be good enough. All you have to know that CF is broken is look at the Bowl lineups! It's brutal! Too many give me's nowadays!

It may be spot on but it's not fair, oops, there's that word again. BTW, Ole Miss has a 4-5 record! IU deserved better! They could have given them a game against a team with a winning record, respect or no respect!

I believe you forgot that Notre Dame also beat Clemson on November 7th. IU was overlooked because, well they're IU I guess. IU was more deserving that some who received NY6 bids

I agree with what you say! Clemson and Alabama are in a league by themselves. Clemson will clean up on tOSU just as they did yesterday against the Irish. IMO, Clemson will win the National Championship because they play some defense.

Notre Dame had three nice drives at the beginning of the game, but only scored 3 points. The biggest play of the game was a wide open 4th down pass that Book threw behind the receiver. I'm not sure the Irish belong in the CFP's after the game today. Of course Clemson is a different team with Trevor Lawrence behind center. He's cemented his Heisman today.

Congratulations to Carson Steele. An honor well deserved! I'm sorry that most of you didn't get to see McCahill week to week against one of the toughest, if not THE toughest, schedules in the midwest! I stand by my belief that Nathan McCahill deserved the honor of Indiana Mr. Football Quarterback. I hope to see you all in August!

First of all it's good to hear from the southside PP again. It has been a long silence. It must mean that they are doing well and Cathedral is also doing well, and that's all good. I probably have attended more Indiana High School football games than anyone on this site. That and $5 will get me a Starbucks special. I have never seen one player mean so much to his team than Nathan McCaill has against such a top notch schedule. I don't have to repeat that schedule because it has been rehashed here a lot already. I'm not much on stats on a player's worthiness, I much prefer my own eyeball test. These old eyeballs have seen few QB's have a better season than Nate. His leadership has been incredible. Now it's true that I'm prejudiced and an Irish fanboy, but I've never been one to be blinded by partisanship when it comes to accolades. If a player is outstanding I like to believe I am quick to acknowledge that. I'm sure Nate is the kind of young man that treasures a championship ring more than is own personal rewards and he has that, and so does his teammates. They have those rings because of their hard work and the leadership of Nathan McCahill. Well, I shouldn't forget the leadership of our great coaching staff either. It's been a fun season and I was blessed to attend most of the games. I don't understand the vote for the Mr. Football position award for QB. There's a lot of things I don't understand but I know that there are a lot of those that voted for this award post on this site, and I would like for them to help me understand their vote or the reasoning behind theirs and other's decision. We all know life isn't always "fair" (there's that word) but there are times when we just need to know "why." I hope everyone has a very blessed Immaculate Conception Day!
