I am going to go with Snider. Carroll had its issues with Dwenger. It was close till the 4 Qt and Dwenger's wheels fell off.

I have my opinion on what's wrong with Dwenger. All I will say is that program has been on the decline since 2019. The revolving door of coaches. They are now on their 3rd OC. The last one quit half way through a season. They are trying to relive the Glory days of the late 1980s. This may upset a few people when I say this. It all starts with one guy. Carroll will win big this Friday. I am skipping the game. This week's winners: Wayne, Homestead, North and the 2023 SAC Champs will kill South (why even play starters)

I would agree 100%. I was going to say the same thing. You beat me to it. Splitting the SAC into two division is not going to work either. I mean small school and big school is a joke. They need to make two new conferences. Imagine Snider playing Warsaw instead of Concordia or playing Mishawaka or Penn instead of South or Wayne. Maybe Snider should go independent like Cathedral and play select teams including local big schools. There has to be a solution. Snider, Dwenger, Carroll Homestead, Luers and North should form a conferences. That gives 4 out of conference games.. Dwenger won ugly last night. Came from 12 down. Showed me they do have some fight.

I will take, Carroll, Northrop, Dwenger, Snider and Wayne.

Because they were missed. Dwenger filled an appeal and it took the IHSAA this long to address it.

Injuries, I heard week 3 against Dwenger.

I know Dwenger is trying to get back in 4A but so far the IHSAA has not moved on the appeal. As of now they are 5A.

Dwenger has their own network now.. it's called Saints Sport network or SSN. Yea it was ugly last night. Moeller is going to crush Dwenger next Friday. But hey it will make them better. LOL

Thank you! From what I was told that Dwenger was missed when they made all the adjustments last winter.

I tried to share the story but it failed.

News 15 did a preseason story about Dwenger and said they are 4A. I know the IHSAA missed them for reclassification and Dwenger was appealing it. Has anyone seen the official word on this?

I have a feeling they are going to attempt to get with Cathedral again with in 2 years. I think they should go for Lowell, they seem to have Dwenger's number and so does Concord.

I was surprised when I heard that they may be moved back to 4A. But heard that last year too. Will see how it turns out. I know the first two games will not be fun to watch.

And larger then Dwenger.

A new private school in Fort Wayne makes it debut this season. Black Hawk Christian in 1A. Will be interesting to see how they do. The school sits in the heart of Snider and Dwenger parts of Fort Wayne. There was talk Dwenger is moving back down to 4A but I have not heard.

Northwood middle school feeds into North Side.

From what I was told today, Blackhawk will be playing at Zollner Stadium next year.

Or put in turf and use it for both like Dwenger. Honestly if they rent it would probably be with Concordia or Dwenger. Dwenger wanted to rent Northside in the tournament but was denied by FWCS. So the rented USF stadium. Because Zollner was in bad shape.
