Geez ...does everyone in the HNAC run some sort of "Wing" offense!?!? Granted, I know very little about the conference, except what I read on here. But between the above mention Knox, Pioneer, Judson, LaVille...
Pioneer- Wing T
Knox- Single Wing & Things
Judson- Flexbone
LaVille- Variety with single wing sprinkled in
Winamac- Ran some single wing, wing-t, I Form this year
Triton- Wing T
Culver- Power T
Caston- Spread

What offense scheme did Radtke bring to Knox?? How long has he been there now ?
Single wingish overload offense with loads of formations to run the same running schemes. Lots of pulling linemen and sniffer backs.

Knox @ Jimtown- The teams look to be pretty evenly matched, I expect this to be pretty close throughout.
Culver @ North Judson- Culver may keep it close for a half, but poor depth catch up to them and the Jays get their JV in for the last time this season.

Curious on what you think score will be on NJ/ Triton game?
I think the final will be around 56-14. I honestly wasn't overly impressed with Triton from our games and the film breakdown we have done. We just didn't have the cats to stop you guys. Schuh wasn't overly effective against us last week other than 1 long field reversal and looked like he was playing injured, not as explosive as the regular season. In game planning I was more worried about your QB, I just don't think that you guys utilize him enough. It will be close for a quarter, but I think that Judson's physicality will be too much for you guys in the end.

West Noble at Knox- Knox football team pulls it out in a close one.
Andrean at LaVille- I think Andrean is beatable, I just think that their tougher schedule and overall talent puts them over the top of the Lancers. The biggest asset for LaVille going into this game is they are a very physical team, but in the end the overall team talent of Andrean will prevail.
South Central (UM) at Culver- this is a yawner as the cavs prepare for Judson
Triton at North Judson- Jays will be too much for Triton. I dont see Triton's defense being good enough to stop the triple.

Wondering what the field conditions will be at Pioneer this Friday?
Fields in relatively good shape for us. We've only had one varsity home game since week 4 and due to low numbers only a handful of JV games on it this season.

The first meeting was a dogfight for three quarters. Pioneer just has lapses of play where they throw a pick/fumble/ get a punt blocked for score/ start missing tackles etc. Personally I dont think they are that far off being very competitive. Final Scores dont reflect it as Their youth has been exposed a bit but best thing about all those freshmen starters is they become sophomores.
Judson beat us 55-8 last Friday and we had more positive takeaways than probably any game this season. Pioneer was inside Judson's 10 twice and came away with 0 points, dumb mistakes kept them out. Promising thing about the longer drive was that on the Oline there were all freshmen and 1 senior from tackle to tackle. Defense played okay for a half, but they were finally playing with some emotion and passion.
Triton is a very good team, I just think if our kids can play a whole game for the first time this season we can pull out the upset. Score was 7-0 Triton going into half. Going into the 4th quarter, I believe the score was 14-6, a couple injuries and youth showed themselves and Triton ran away in the 4th. It should be a great game and a fun atmosphere going into Friday night.

Have there been any Pioneer players make their way to Logansport? Kiser and some others must have been the only reason they were so good. Someone said this could be the worst team Pioneer has had since the 1990's. I don't know, why don't you tell us the reason Pioneer is so bad.
Low sophomore and junior class numbers are killers for us. Poor team leadership from the senior class. This senior class has had one of the worst off season workout attendances of any team the last 20 years. Upper classmen want to be a part of the winning, but don’t want to put the work in to do it.

Didn’t Brett law when mr football at Sheridan ? Just a opinion here but maybe when pioneer was up a ton at state you let those kids that took a beating against the varsity all year get in the game instead of playing the starters all game .
None of the kids on this team were even in high school when Pioneer last won state…

Pioneer by 20? What have you seen that makes you think Pioneer is that much better than Triton?
They’re not.

If I'm not mistaken. Sheridan has, for many years, ran this same scheme on defense with a lot of tight man coverage.
